It's a 6v6 competitive FPS that's supposedly accessible to people of all skill levels.

The game is set on Earth in the future and is the first new Blizzard IP in 17 years.

The beta is out next year. You can opt-in for a chance to play the beta through the official website or through your battle.net account.

I feel like I've already played this game countless times before... Not sure what I was expecting from a brand new Blizzard IP, but it wasn't this Team Fortress clone that's for sure.

Well I guess since Valve can't count to 3, someone else had to go and make Team Fortress 3.

I'd watch a feature length film in the style of that cinematic trailer though.

It looks like a Team Fortress game for the N-64, (with better graphics).

Anyway, I'm putting money on the Reaper getting the first nerf.

It's got a Sniper, a Medic, an engineer, a scout and the only thing stopping that Gorilla from being HWG is the lack of a chaingun.

Reaper looks like he's got some comparative skills to the Spy as well!

I'd like official confirmation from gray as to whether this counts as a proper game or not.

Yeah... Not sure how you can say it's nothing like Team Fortress when it's clearly everything like Team Fortress.

There was even capturing control points mentioned.

I'm sure it will be a wonderfully fun game, but I would have liked something a little more imaginative from Blizzard for their first new IP in 17 years.

Bloody good job really, or it would be EXACTLY like TF2.

How long before it's free to play and funded entirely by hats?

I wonder how many classes you will get in the vanilla game and how many you will have to pay for.

    A Killer Instinct model, perhaps?

Around 99.9% sure the pricing model will be the usual F2P with in-game purchases model, like Hearthstone.

Loving the Blizzard apologist. I'm guessing that's you Gracie?
You're going to need a new xxx graphix card and maybe an extra cooler of soon sort.
Keep on trucking big rig man!

Looks fun, I have faith it will be good as the two games from blizzard I've owned (starcraft and Diablo 3) are sublime. Ps4?

Looks interesting. Those movement abilities look like a nightmare for level-designers to take into account.

Looks a bit dodgy to me. There's loads of team based shooters out there and the tf2 comparisons are glaring.

I do enjoy the blizzard aesthetic though. Everything drips polish.

I can already hear the whiny screeching about lack of balance in this.

People spent a good couple of months shitting their pants about the supers in Destiny as it is.
