Oh my God, they killed the Forecast Channel! Anything similar?

And I rather liked it since it helped my young son get an idea about the world. Proof yet again that Nintendo hate their fans.

Does anyone know of a similar replacement (a spinable globe with weather which can be controlled, possibly with a Wiimote)? I'm willing to rig up something with a Pi or computer.

Stick your finger in your gob, then go outside and point.

I forget how to use it, but I'm fairly sure there's a similar mode for Google Earth that overlays the weather. Not 100% sure though, and I've no idea how to use it even if there is.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

Happy to. Show me the weather app with the big screen globe which works with the Wiimote.

Apparently I could turn on the weather overlay but there aren't nice friendly icons and I could knock something up with GlovePIE but it's a bit clunky.

    Any other ideas welcome.

This is not the way to get me to buy a Wii U Nintendo, dropping online support for the Wii a mere half-year after the Wii U comes out.
