I fancy playing some indie games on PC. Preferably cerebral or puzzle games rather than action games or stuff available on XBLA.

    I've got Antichamber.

    Any recommendations?

Spacechem comes first to mind. A very good cerebral/logical puzzle game.

    edit: darn.

Blocks that Matter is a nice puzzle platformer.
    Machinarium for point-n-click adventure.
Closure is a cool puzzle platformer messing around with light and shadow.

I'm playing Don't Starve at the moment. It's brutally harsh but charming and strangely addictive.

Spachem, FTL and Machinarium for sure. Add Botanicula to that list.
    Also:
    Fate of the World.
    Atom Zombie Smasher.
    Defense Grid.
Papers Please (not sure whether that fits the bill but it's definitely interesting)

Might be overlap with XBLA as I have absolutely no clue what's on there.

I was just going to post a similar topic. Steam just popped up with an intriguing sounding game called The Swapper. Anyone played it yet? It seems to have some very promising reviews.

You are a factory of sadness.

Yeah, I decided to take a punt. I have been playing it for quite a few hours already. It starts off fairly straight forwardly but I have already reached a couple of puzzles that I'm finding quite challenging. I also like the art style and story so far. I'm taking a break from it now as my brain has melted a bit!

Forget Proteus, anyone that recommends it just wants to share the disappointment of wasting money on that shit.

    Anybody played Capsized?

Read the EG review but wondered what forumers thought of it.

The Swapper is tops. Played it through in one mind bending sitting. Buy it from its website and it's cheaper than on steam, and gives you a steam key all the same.

The current Humble Bundle is great, and has several excellent games, including Capsized, so get it for however much you want to pay for it.

    Another +1 for The Swapper.

Only started it a few days ago but it's a right noodle-scratcher!

Though not a puzzle game, Binding of Isaac is phenomenal and should be played at all costs.

Didn't want to make a new thread, but I made a wee browser game this week: TelekiNachos!

    http://gamejolt.com/games/arcade/telekinachos/22241/

Basically, I made the game that I *thought* Flappy Bird was when I misinterpreted the first screenshot I saw of it
