    @lucky_jim Your welcome mate.
It makes me feel a bit better knowing that my laziness is helping out a forum user.

Gym: 4 x week for cardio and complete body over a week.
Diet: Clean up diet and only a cheat day at the wekend.

Those two should be do-able. I trained like this from age 19-31...and looked fookin'good ;) 31-40 I didn't and I look shite :( albeit with a certain amount of muscle mem.

Play guitar daily (even 30 mins) and learn some new songs.
Read more, I love reading but for some reason hardly ever do it. I have some great books set around the 100 years war, which is a subject I love.

I have loads more, but they are the bigies.

Mine is simple. Get down to 75kg. Probably by swimming more frequently to start with and see how I go from there

I don't really believe in new years resolutions. If I want to do or change something, I just do it, new years or no.

But I'm thinking of cutting down on the drinking. Especially beer.

Learn to play chess, thus heightening my classiness.
Learn to swim, thus heightening my chance of survival if chucked into a pond.
    Nuke the pot belly somewhat.
Other things that i can't remember.
    Improve memory somehow.

    Quit smoking.

    Run more.

Get a tan (becoming a bit of a beach person, but being kinda pale amongst the beach babes and studs isn't fun).

    Draw more.

Don't react to every mood swing my girlfriend has.

    Save for a overseas trip.

Sort of one i developed since yesterday is to carry my camera with me at all times. Missed a great shot on sat, although today i got chatised by a chef for taking an image of his propetrey. Doesn't help i've booked a table to eat there on wednesday! doh! seemed ok after he recognised me so hopefully it won't be too excruciating on wed night (will check for razor blades in what ever i have!)

    5 meals, 2 fingers ?

I'm kinda going for the cut down on the over eating and drinking I did from November to December though there is still some lovely food still to be eaten so still enjoying that for the next day or two and it should be gone.

Other than that, I like to think I can change or do something any time of the year so don't bother.

So, looking back at this thread, did you accomplish your goals?

I got about a third done, but I did some other things that I'm proud of - anyway onto 2014:

    - get more beefy for the summer (the "summer look" goal never changes)
    - develop and finish a game for the the App/Play Store
    - make major inroads (hopefully/finally) into clearing more debt

Get a new bike and cycle more.
Get stuck into a photography/film project
See friends more, local and further afield.

And a more ambitious sort of sort out my fucking miserable excuse of an existence.
Either do a masters degree, travelling, buy/build/starting thinking about making a small space thingy majig, or consider buying my own house and quit my fucking job and get a better one.
Get new bike - Nope - although that is on my list for next year :D
Get stuck into a photography/film project - Nope, although i did get two photos published!
See friends more, local and futher afield - sort of, i feel my relationships with friends are better now, then they were a new ago.

And i have lost 5kg in weight since july. Might have put some of that back on though this week !

Still in the same job. >_<

Travelling no - but i have saved some money towards that , to go away this year .So

-C, must try a bit harder.

Quit smoking, been smoking 20 a day for 20 years, I did stop for 6 months a few years back, but cheap smokes in Spain(Fortuna Blue) and the fuck it I'm on holiday mentality got me hooked again.

I've got one of those vapour electronic smokes, but I've got the Tabaco flavoured juice which tastes like shit. Its fucking hard to stop as my brain feels like its about to explode without my hourly puff and the stress of running your own business, missus and kids, getting my arse handed to me on Killzone always sends me to the Embassy No1's, gotta stop though as it will fucking kill me.

I actually worry about how thin i would have to be to get a six pack.

    i reckon i'd have to lose about 10kg, and i weigh 80kg at 5'8".

i'd look skinny. dont want to look skinny.
I'm same height as you and 5-6kg less and want to loose 4-5 kg, I'm not sure you'd look that skinny unless your bones are made of lead :-)
