    I love the look of this, it seems to be pretty much my perfect game. I just hope there's lots of exploration to it as well!

    It does look very good.

    I want to hear details about this supposed "long-term exclusive agreement" they spoke of. They certainly don't mean the game itself. Additional content maybe?

    This is the only game that has the potential to make me go next gen, otherwise I'm happy to wait two year or so until the price is right.

    Lots of other great games were shown but this is the "I must have at launch game".

    Looked fantastic running on PS4. Definitely seems to have some of the magic that made the original Halo so good.

    It doesn't look like it plays like Halo though, which is disappointing: rather than trying to be more about movement and things, its ADS with special powers.

    I hope they have more up their sleeves.

    I wasn't too impressed with it. Don't like that loot and upgrade tree stuff. I also fear those raids or exploration missions will be so similar and such a bullet spam fest XP chore. Nice look about it but not too appealing at the moment.

    Looked like Borderlands with better art direction and slightly better combat. Very disappointing.

    And the fake camaraderie/"friendly banter" was cringeworthy. Please NEVER do that again Bingle.

    I thought it looked good. There's a lot of info they didn't spill though. Is it open world? Does it feature competitive multiplayer?

    I'm trying to work out whether it's more hip firing like Halo or down sights like everything else bar Valve's FPS's.

    This is the game I want to buy my PS4 with so I'm hoping it's Bungie at their best.

    Well, considering you often fire without using any kind of scope in Halo, it's a fair comment, if not entirely accurate.

    But loot, Sparrows! Think of the LOOT! And the instanced multiplayer boss battling! And, and, talking bots and shit!

    I was underwhelmed by it. It felt like they wanted us to be all "aww shit son it's the evolution of Halo" but it felt like "aww shit son Bungie just set Borderlands in the Rage universe populated by Halo's Prometheans".

    So if you're not hip firing in Halo what are you doing?

    Where's the gun in relation to the head when I interpret the reticle as actually on the Spartan HUD in his helmet?

    What I was getting at is I want a shooter that concentrates as much on range of movement as the shooting. That's why Halo feels so good to me.

    I like the idea of bosses and instances and things - I'm a sucker for such crap.

    But I don't want ANOTHER ADS-crouchy-cover shooter.

    I want to be Master Chief on speed - sprinting, jumping like the Hulk, smashing heads in, bouncing of walls, etc.

    Not that grayson gives a shit, but the gun is held up to near the face - look at any spartan in MP. But yes, it's 'hip firing' when you consider 'scope firing' also.

    Okay, hip firing wasn't the right concept. But you get what I mean. And surely if you're using a HUD for aiming you might as well be shooting from the hip for all intents and purposes.

    The point was that you don't get tunnel vision and have more spacial awareness allowing for more interesting traversal scenarios.

    Pretty much.

    Not only do you see more - the battlefield is 'bigger', but you can move around it really easily. That's not been done very much in FPS. I hope Destiny pushes it a bit.

    A bit more Mirror's Edge in the shooter would be nice. Not Mirror's Edge as a shooter. That would suck.

    Wall running whilst headshotting would be cool though.

    Most early shooters that didn't have ADS (Wolf 3D through to, what... ADS came in with MoH et al?) but they also didn't have any kind of scopes on the guns.

    Not that I can remember clearly, and nor does it really matter.

    That would be Titanfall :-)

    Hoping for a very shortlived exclusivity as I want that game on PS4.

    RAGE? didn't remind me of RAGE at all. to me it looked like contemporary sci-fi (Mass effect, oblivion film) design built around an extension of the halo firefight systems, with loot.

    I may not have seen all the videos there are but in the gameplay from other day the weapon upgrade progression system appeared to be linear? we don't know if the stats associated to a weapon are fixed or random from a budget, etc.

    ps. RAGE was very meh.

    Yeah, it was specifically the sequence leading up to entering the Wall that made me think "shit, that does look a lot like RAGE".
