Last night I ran the system update to get the latest stuff (I had to do it to access PSN Store and on-line stuff), and it's cleared my entire game list (the one under “Games”). Weirdly it’s added something for Singstar(???).

When I go into my system settings I still have the space allocated for the games I have installed, and if I log into a different username (I have multiple accounts for Japan and US) the games show up, but in my main account, with all my precious saves, I can’t seem to access or see them at all!

Anyone else had anything like this happen, or does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Maybe some weird sorting thing is going on?

And yes, singstar is now perpetually at the top of the list of games. A very annoying decision from Sony. :-( I can only hope they leave it on there for some time to promote it and then give us some way to hide it.

I'd phone Sony first, but you could try doing a Rebuild of the Database (or whatever it's called in the Debug Boot menu)

I'll check the sorting thing tonight - I have done something in the past to my filter settings that caused some of my games to vanish. Maybe some filter setting got enabled that wasn't supposed to be.

And yes I have tried turning it off and on again, and if I ever get hold of a time machine I'll be sure to go back and stop myself from doing it! :p

Adding Singstar by default took the piss, very cheeky. And people complain that MS use their own Dash to advertise their software.

Ah, i found the issue, it's put all games in a ps3 sub folder!

It's confusing because it displays what ever is in the top of that folder as the folders image!

    Phew, panic over! :)

Strangely, I've always installed updates as they come on, but singstar has never appeared on my games list.

Anyone wanna buy my 'special' PS3? ;)
