@ZizouFC It's one of the longer term games so it'll be a good while yet. The OP should have the details of what's coming out (Chronovolt next week)

Yes I believe so. Seems a bit odd to give a game away free to a large chunk of your market as soon as it comes out.

But then I find PS Plus to be bizarrely, how-can-that-make-business-sense generous anyway :)

I beleive that they are aiming for DLC sales.

Stuff like Batman people are only buying second hand now anyway, so Sony / publishers don't get a cut. By giving the game away free they lose nothing, and potentially make money from DLC as they now have a larger user base.

Except wasn't the Batman DLC free as well?

Fair point though if so, didn't think of that. As someone who very rarely bothers with DLC, result!

I noticed that when getting Arkham City from PS+ you also get the Catwoman DLC which is even more generous.

Catwoman was, Robin wasn't I think.

So Big Sky Infinity is out... Hm. Don't think it'll be taking valuable memory card space up for long.

Glad it ain't just me. That and Chronothingy the 2 games I didn't have, and can see why they are free.

In fact the poor Aussies really suffer, I ended up picking up Lego Batman 2 for the Vita, and fucks sake. Was the german version, said was english, but luckily they kept the german voices for the totally blurred cut scenes that looked like they were meant for the Game Boy. And that's the Vita version. They get the PSP one.

I downloaded Big Sky Infinity at work and deleted it on the way home after a single play of the tutorial level.

What a bloody annoying game. :|

@Progguitarist Ironically, it's getting worse feedback than Chronovolt :p

I haven't tried it myself yet. Still need to free up some space...

It's got an incredibly annoying geeky British narrator trying to be funny.

Chronovolt is not so bad. Short and fairly enjoyable, I'd give it a 6/10. Rushing through the levels to beat the time is properly challenging.

I really like Big Sky Infinity, played a couple of hours and unlocked a lot of modes. Really pretty game, but it is a bit random as the levels are procedurally generated. But plenty to do in it.

Yes the narrator on big sky infinity is awful and initially I wasn't so keen but I'm liking it now, does feel s Lil too random though.

Big Sky is a fun game but the narrator can indeed 'do one'. Not sure who thought that was a good idea when a nice trippy soundtrack would have sufficed. My current high score on classic (about 85k) hasn't been uploaded to the leaderboards as I was offline at the time; my global position is -1 with a score of 0. So if you have to be online to register a high score? Broken.

I enjoyed it well enough for a free game, but I did experience some pretty bad slow down on later stages.

Big Sky is a bit terrible so far. i've tried not to dismiss it out of hand but after about forty minutes it still feels horribly Indie and unrefined. The movement is just off. The narrator does suck but he can be switched off to be fair.

I'm enjoying it, I like side scrolling shooters were I get to blast things.

It seems to have weird interludes where nothing happens though. I will try again!

    Number 2 in the world in classic..no point..just a quick gloat :D
I'm still unsure as to if I like it or not though, it's addicting though but the whole nature of the more points more upgrades to go further next time..not convinced it works as it rewards persistence as well as skill.

Pretty sure I still don't like it. I've been too spoiled by Sine Mora to tolerate such half baked amateur indie fare.

I've played both and I'm enjoying both but I think sine mora and big sky are aimed at slightly different markets. Big Sky is more for a quick blast for 5 minutes while sine mora is if you want something more meaty that you can play for a few hours. There's definitely room for both but that said I would take sine moras graphics over big sky any day of the week.

From what I've heard about that game I would like it to but alas it's not on the vita so it's a pointless discussion.
