I'm pretty sure it was still in the US DVD versions and UK DVD version I replaced those with. And I'm sure I've seen it since again in my Blu-ray copies. Although him getting aggressive was actual to signify his lacking control and being influenced by Maul and the dark side of the force. By contrast the weaker but experienced Qui-Gon meditates “to let the force flow through him” prior to battle like Yoda's training words to Skywalker in Empire. Even meditating Qui-Gon was more Keystone Kop than lethal weapon, completely out of his depth.
Yeah, completely. I've watched the Laurel and Hardy BD Boxset 15 times in full, in 9.2 surround via an Onyo 9000 series AV system, connected to a Pioneer Kuro plasma, using radon-doped HDMI cables and even I can see that.

Have we mentioned that George Takei has been cast as Jedi Master Ceti Maru yet?  Also the film is called Star Wars: Galactic Empire.

Great casting there, but I think the title is a bit sucky.

I think the George Takei thing was an April Fools joke.

Even though it was a joke, I found myself sitting there thinking 'wow, that would actually be bloody great'. Make it so! Cast the man, damnit.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

We knew that didn't we? That was part of the original announcement.

The universe can support it, it just depends if they stick doggedly to the wacky adventures of Clan Skywalker or not.

Ah, we may've done yeh. I thought the bit confirming (as opposed to rumours) spin-offs and yearly titles was new, but may not've been.

I don't really understand what it means anyway. Every year for how long? Forever?

It'll probably end up being another five films on top of the new trilogy or whatever. Not such a massive deal.

I would guesstimate at 5-6 years?

3 main films and 2 or 3 spinoffs

I want one of them to be entirely focussed on 'bacca

Every year until its not profitable to do so. So about three years.

I wonder if they have any plans to build an entire Star Wars based theme park?

Without doubt. They'll certainly build some some Marvel and Star Wars stuff in one of the Disney World parks I'm sure.

I've also seen some funny piss-take things around about Princess Leia being integrated into the whole Disney Princess thing.

If you have been to a disneyland/world.whatever recently, you will probably have seen there was already a *massive* star wars push with loads of tie in merchandise, so it wouldnt surprise me if a couple of older rides in the future zones made way for a few more star wars specific one.

Certainly I hope there are more than the Star Tours one because that fucker made me hurl.

I remember last time I went to Disney World they had something like four times the land that was already built upon earmarked for future expansion, so there could well be more niche parks like Star Wars in future.

The new Star Tours is a decent ride. The 3D was a bit shoehorned in but aside from that I liked it.

Are the Marvel rides still in Universal Studios in Florida? Wonder what will happen to them over time?

I want a movie solely bases on anakins transition from jedi to sith. I would like them without ja ja rasta stereotype alien thingy, with some semi decent dialogue as well

I remember a Hulk coaster but did they have any others? The only link seemed to be that it was green so it will probably just be re-branded as Shrek or something when the deal runs out.

There was a Spider-Man coaster when I was there about 10 years ago, and something to do with the x men but I don't think that was a ride.

No deal. They bought Marvel outright for $4.25bn.

That's the one. Doubt Disney are keen on keeping what they now own in such a major competitors pocket.
