It's a thing!|
Giant Bomb Quick Look
edit: I've heard it referred to as Happy Action TV, so it could be called that.

Free? Marvelous...until they say it's US only.|
But I will be picking it up. That dubstep vid looks fun.
Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday.
|Nope free all over|
Though, think you'll still have to purchase DFHAT, if you want all 36 channels...
mmmmm Is it me or does MN's recent tweet make it sound like we will need to then buy it come the 1st to continue playing the full game??|

"Kinect Party" comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade this week and will be free until the end of the month
Out now people. |
|If you want to see the future of gaming, then watch a bunch of seven year olds play this. 2D holodeck|
8/10. Better than ...
Had a go just now. Initial impression it's fun with the kids (they had a bit too much energy for my liking, this fixed that )|
There's still quite some channels you can only "try". I did see some DLC that was also free but didn't get it yet. Maybe that is the missing content?
Explains the pay structure for those that don't get it now.

|I downloaded this for my young kids and they love it. Games like this justify my Kinect purchase. It's simple, pure play fun. Likewise the Wreckateer was fun, but a bit tricky for the very youngest. But you can't argue with free!|
Gamertag: Brit anime fan
really enjoyed it with my 2/5 year old yesterday as well.|
Glad I loaded it up yesterday, as it's a bit sneaky to allow you to download it for 'free', but then not actually give access to everything unless you actually play the game during the free period.
|My 6 year old daughter and my mum in law have been loving this today. Perfect kids game and makes Kinect worthwhile|
|Would like them to add the mature content as DLC at some point.|
|Does anyone know why Happy action theater only appears as a demo at the moment ?|
Krappers wrote:Not sure if you have already found out, but the very same games on Happy Action Theatre can be played on Double Fine's newest game, Kinect Party ... a sequel of sorts really.
I have played HAT to death and this doesn't offer a whole lot more to be honest, but still, I cannot complain seeing as it is (temporally) free!
|Aye, its been withdrawn from Live.|
|Oh well. My boys are loving KP.|
|Makes sense i suppose to take HAT off seeing as you can get it all in KP and more.|
