Youtube on iPad not full screen

    Anyone else getting this? On the Youtube website (not the app), clicking on the full screen button of a clip still shows the address bar. What do?

    It's their way of making you use the Youtube app. Which will be gone in iOS 6. Which will make you hate Google and love only Apple.

    Gametrailers videos have gone this way too on iOS devices. It's shit and baffling.

    Use the Download option (if available) underneath the video to see them the good old fashioned way ;)

    Oh great! Now embedded videos don't fullscreen anymore either. In fact you can't expand them at all without going directly to YouTube... thanks Google!

    It is quite annoying. Worth checking out an App called Jasmine. A nice youtube player on iPad/iPhone

    I realize this is a bump about embedded videos, but fullscreen generally works if you switch from mobile to desktop version on the Youtube site.
