In all seriousness, it made me cry. It was the 1st film I went to see with a gf, so I was probably a bit emotionally highly strung at the time.

Pixar films. My face actually hurt from trying to look expressionless and manly during the furnace scene in toy story 3. Same with the opening from Up.

Also films where people achieve victory against the odds.

Any film where a father and son reconcile at the end reduces me to a blubbering mess.

I actually cry more at emotional happy endings than sad ones.

Oh and I know it's not a great film, but there's a single shot that slays me every time in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It's near the end when he's a toddler, walking down the street holding hands with Cate Blanchett, who's now an old woman.

There's just something about that image that hits me like a train.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Grave of The Fireflies really is the worst though. I sobbed like a little girl after that. I think I was depressed for about a week later.
    This.

Also the Club Silencio scene in Mulholland Dr. always gets me, with Rebekah del Rio singing Llorando.

I'm a massive gay when it comes to films making me cry. I think How to Train Your Dragon was the last one, and that's not even sad. Pretty much any film that's designed to make you cry will make me cry.

you must dread going to see spielberg films then! theres a really interesting interview with him and mark kermode and they they were talking how he specifically designs films to make people cry and take you on that emotional journey. Quite clever.

Yeah I always take a ladies hand fan to the cinema with me. I hate swooning when things get too much.

Anything with a dying dog in it will have me having to leave the room because "I think I have something in my eye".

Turner and Hooch would be a much more enjoyable film if Tom Hanks jumped in front of the dog and took the bullet at the end.

Cool Runnings and The Jungle Book are the only two films to have made me cry.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

    What is this, Eurogaymer?

Anyway, I don't cry at films, never have done. I'm just not much of a crying person but recently I watched 'Hachi: A Dog's Tale' and let me tell you that was a massive struggle to fight back the tears.
