Battlestar galactica (despite the final 2 seasons, it had built up enough credit in my book to get away with them)
I still love them tbh, especially as Gaius steals every scene he's in. I do hate what they did to Starbuck though. Way to ruin a great character :-(

    1. Breaking Bad
    2. Deep Space Nine
    3. Red Dwarf
    4. Only Fools & Horses
    5. Quantum Leap

Honourable mention to Battlestar Galactica which would be up the top there were it not for seasons 3 and 4 kinda spoiling it.

Yeah loved it first time round and been rewatching in on Netflix it's still a brilliant show. A little too preachy but wonderful series with good positive messages and feel good factor. I still have something in my eye with the Jimmy episodes :)

You could always replace one of your Dexters with it.

    The West Wing
    Frasier
    The Sopranos
    24
    NYPD Blue

Incidentally, I've been watching quite a bit of Spaced & Peep Show on 4Music the past couple of weeks. Ok, Spaced is quite funny but I have no idea why anybody enjoys Peep Show. I just want to put my arms through the TV and punch Robert Webb in his smug face!

Yeah, every story has a moral, which even then was a bit of a throwback, but its still a guaranteed hour of good TV, which you dont really get anymore.

I recently found Peep Show and love it to bits but my mrs thinks I'm mad and it's terrible. It is a strange one to be fair and I can see why people would hate it but I think it's genius, not exactly sure why though I just find the two of them really funny.

I think old Sam Beckett was ultimately what killed Enterprise for me. It was a good show but I would always expect Al to pop in and tell him he'd leaped to the future by accident :)

That's very true, I had actually forgotten about that episode and had to double check though :)

Humour being at the top of my TV viewing criteria I'd say in no particular order:

    Glory Daze
    Scrubs
    3rd Rock from the Sun
    Married with Children
    Seinfeld

You'd be surprised, sometimes a great x1 Ethernet port pun can put me in stitches of laughter.

    1. The Wire
    2. Twin Peaks

Nothing really comes close to those two; rounding out the top five would be

    The Young Ones
    Lost
    The Simpsons (1-8)

Sopranos, Oz, Breaking Bad, Justified and Futurama just miss out.

British TV is shite outside of comedy shows for the most part.

    Anywhoooooo, list:

    1. The Wire
    2. Twin Peaks
    3. Breaking Bad
    4. Parks and Rec
    5. Game of Thrones

There are more but that's the rough top 5.
