Glad I waited to pick one up, this is much more ideal.

I really need to stop buying Nintendo products. You'd think I'd bloody learn.

No analogue stick or extra functions? It's just a larger version with a slightly better battery. I will probably skip this as it doesn't look like it will fit in my pockets

Pretty fucking narked about this. They said they weren't making a new 3DS less than two weeks ago, so I figured if they were going to announce at TGS if at all and bought a UK one.

It looks pretty fucking huge doesn't it? And if the resolution is the same it'll look super jaggy, no? Doesn't really appeal to me.

Somehow I hadn't even thought of the potential implications for 3D stuff. Will I have to hold it further away from my face until it looks the same size as the old one?

While the bigger battery is nice, if it's anything like the DS XL, it won't be as comfortable to actually use

Ask me anything about Dungeon Keeper

No second stick! I knew it! I mean, my hat was safe anyway, but still.

Does look a lot more... Plastic. Big screen is great, but I don't feel hard done by having a smaller version.

If there was a second analogue stick on there, I'd probably pick one up. But the fact that there isn't and that the 3DS is still region locked means I won't bother. Shame as there's some good games for it.

Are they going to be putting a better battery into the normal-sized one?

I'm not a fan of the rounded corners, they make it looks a bit (more) toy like.

Please don't use the delete button, think of the children.

I am. The sharp-ish corners on the 3DS make it uncomfortable to grip for any period of time. Digs into your palms.

Professor Farnsworth : Good news everyone, I've finally found a use for my Embiggen Ray!

Seems like they have made the start, select and home buttons more buttony (I didnt mind the 3DS ones cause you could use the stylus to press them) and the power button is level with the surface rather then sticking out. Nintendo really should improve the 3D camera, I wouldn't get my hopes up though.

I would never get my 3DS out in public. If I had one of these, I would get it out in public even neverer. It looks like a laptop for retarded children.
