Yes, more of the same works for me too. I loved the first one to bits. I put it on again just the other day and just ran up and down the beach kicking zombies into the sea. Happy days :D

I have an unhealthy addiction to lining up zombies by the pool or by the sea and kicking them in and watching them drown

Totally agree - Act 1 had lots of potential (although I hate this thing games have of using 'boss zombies' or 'special super zombies' - far better to just have the shuffling moaning brainless slow ones, where numbers are their strength, not running zombies, puking zombies, exploding zombies etc.). Act 2 was awful compared to Act 1 and so the game went to trade-in pretty quickly.

    Sick of zombies.

    Anyone wanna play L4D2 soon?

Who wouldn’t want a figurine of a mutilated female torso? Ok given the choice I would probably prefer a decapitated puppy but hey.

"Daily Mail Bait Edition" would be a more accurate name, not that they wouldn't have a point. It's a tacky piece of shit and I can see some retailers not watching to touch it, especially at that ridiculous price point.

The class and sadness of the original trailer seems a million miles away now, bloody hell.

Still buying the game though, enjoyed the first in co-op.

I did enjoy the first game so I'll probably be looking to play the sequal. I wont be getting that pointless statue though.

I'll be getting it despite this.

HURR HURR WUT SELLS R GAMES????

    MUTILAYTUD LADY WITH TITS HURRRRRRR

For fuck's sake, why on earth do they need to do that? I'm not saying I'm massively offended by it, before we get into an awfully dull debate, but really? THAT'S what they offer to tempt us? Why not a brilliant fold out map?

    YES I SAID THAT.

I think it's the worst and most inexcusable piece of gaming merchandise I've ever seen, and that's a low bar.

I feel indifferent to the statue thing. Not sure why people are getting excited, don't buy it.

Although a nice map is always good. Does it come with a map? Skyrim did.

It was always going to anger up the blood of a lot of people here - just like the whole Hitman non issue. Mission accomplished.

You don't see how a statue of a woman brutality reduced to nothing but her tits could cause offense?

The really offensive thing is that any sucker forking out £99 for that thing will open the box to find it's cheap plastic.

So then you're a perv AND a fool.

I'm not offended by it, i am scornful towards it. Adolescent male wankery.

if by mission accomplished you mean my estimation of the publisher has dropped, then correct.

Mutilated bikini clad female torso figurine - bad!

Mutilating bikini clad female in game - good?

Depends how sensitive you are. Much more worthwhile things to care about than a toy bundled in with a computer game. Like politics an' ting.
  • Deleted user 16 January 2013 10:52:12
Some would say it is politics.

I am not sure why we get to decide what other people get annoyed about. For all the talk about 'PC' there is a very strong undercurrent that anything PC ish is a priori wrong and therefore totally worthless. Freedom of speech lolz. (not directed at you, humperfunk)

not that anyone here is actually seriously annoyed by it. Bored, if anything.

I'd say that there is quite a divide between brutalising a female bikini clad zombie in the context of a zombie apocalypse and taking said corpse home to put on your mantelpiece.

    Fair comment chap

You have to wonder if most of the time folk truly ARE offended, or if they are just flapping their lips for the sake of being heard. Would as many people give a shit if there was no forum to mouth off onto?

Well, bad taste or not. It's getting them the publicity isn't it?

I'd feel bad for the chinese kids they got to hand paint thousands of them if they decided not to bring it to market now though.

It's not a matter of being offended it's just a horrible object with no redeeming qualities at all from an aesthetic stand point. Who would want such a thing is I think what many people are thinking.
