    Another overrun map very good. Could be a possibility of at least one more map.

    This drip feed of info so close to release is either infuriating or a great ploy from epic. I can't decide which one :-)

    It was terrible! High ground for camping and the low ground is 100% exposed. Not enough cover to make a move back against a team sitting higher up.

    Oh and the spawns are exposed to the high ground too, so you can get trapped easily.

    Patience mixed with grenades are digger etc just fine to defeat campers. Plus if your team ahead just wait them out and they have to leave their camp fire behind.

    nice video. overrun does look like alot of fun. i'll def be getting to demo on 19th and day one for the game.
    Same here. Still not pre-ordered yet though. The thought of an all EG Overrun has just occurred to me!

    Really? My order is there. It'll be nice to try it beforehand at least.

    I only seem to get games on release day from them now. I got crysis3 on the friday, not thursday as I used to.

    Not that I've played it yet anyway ;-)

    Interesting. The campaign stuff looks great. Shame it's all about Baird.

    I'm thinking of cancelling my Shopto order and going with Simply Games. I'm not interested in the bonus stuff, it's cheaper and they dispatch 5 days before release date. How are Shopto with cancellations? Do I get a full refund or is it Credit?

    Survival looks great. It's horde but without the annoying ticker waves, which is the best part. Hopefully it's as difficult as they say it is...

    I will look at them later, however Domination, from the clips I've seen looks like KOTH.

    I'm going to see Louis CK perform on the 21st, so being responsible I thought I'd take the next day off so I could drink. It's just a happy coincidence that Judgment is out that day :)

    Louis CK is pretty funny. His TV show is pretty good. Quite dark at times tho.

    Really liking how slick and quick everything seems. The sawn off has more range it seems.

    the more i see of it the more i want to play it. it looks stunning. i've every confidence we'll all love it. even minus the 'nade tagging, the no DBNO, no horde, no executions, no Guardian/CTL, and COG v COG.

    I was about to go and place my preorder again and then I got to your list of exclusions. I'm still wary on how good it will be. The good thing about the previous Gears were their longevity in multiplayer. With TDM looking shit, theres nothing that looks like it will itch my versus fix.

    Cog v cog sucks, but maps with elevation could be interesting. Albeit, not really what gears was about.

    Survival could be great fun for the horde mode. The de-classified missions could be interesting, or maybe a smidge repetitive, spartan ops I'm looking at you.

    My pre-order is being kept and my hopes are actually raised whenever I see in game footage.

    If they'd put out a Gears 3 expansion or an ODST release that was speculated, we may have felt unhappy that there was nothing new. I think Overrun will be great for long sessions and Survival can scratch the Horde itch. Personally, I didn't play very many games of TDM at all so Domination can scratch my versus itch.

    Then the new campaign and mini campaign will keep me entertained for a long while with higher difficulties and co-op.

    I'm definitely on board!

    EDIT: In reality, I don't have that many itches! ;)
