The Sex Pistols stopped being worthwhile well before JR appeared on Big Brother and did adverts for butter. They are the rebels for those that have never rebelled against anything in their life.

Loving the Tricolour being inadvertantly projected onto the palace at the end there.

Yeah I saw that. I think it was supposed to be red white and blue but it had a certain je ne sais quoi.

    You couldn't make it up...

She said: "London was supposed to be a nice experience, but they left us in the rain. They couldn't give a crap No one is supposed to be treated like that, [working] for free. I don't want to be treated where I have to sleep under a bridge and wait for food." The male steward said: "It was the worst experience I've ever had. I've had many a job, and many a bad job, but this one was the worst."

Is it over yet? I've caught odd bits here and there, hearing helen mirren and alan titchmarsh making speeches about how much they loved being her subjects was so creepy.

My cousin was at a beacon party in the hills of the Scottish borders last night. She just posted pics on FB and you can see a shedload (12 she says) of other beacons on the distant hills. Looks like something out of LotR :)

Well, I managed not to see a single piece of TV coverage of the Jubilee, and also missed our street party, although I did see them putting the bunting up. I have no regrets, we've almost finished prepping our hallway for painting this afternoon. Thanks for the extra day off, Queen.
