Dispatched from Amazon in the early hours, estimated arrival tomorrow, yay. Unfortunately for anyone who was still on the fence, they seem to have upped the price - I preordered for £22.50, item page is now showing £29.99 - which is the same as buying from PSN.

I think that was Amazon's original price before they lowered it. HMV was cheapest to start with.

Hope you get to start it soon. :)

@jasondonervan Since VLR is the shorter game it would probably be worth playing it first, but it would be quite hard to resist Persona 4 seductively dropping through the letterbox...

Well I also nabbed Ragnarok's Odyssey from Murbal, so that should be hitting the doormat shortly too :) I don't know how some people moan about the Vita's 'lack' of games - I have several pages worth on mine, I can't keep up!

Well Dio is being a real cock!

Game's making me seriously distrust everyone - especially relevant when we come to play the Ambidex Game.

    Loving the puzzles!

Not far off finishing now I think, really is a brilliant game. My GOTY easily so far and only Far Cry 3 has a chance of beating it I imagine...

@Zackv4861 Nah, I just had to buy it twice as the first shop I bought it from went under and kept my money. ;) I'm not one of those people who pays crazy postage fees. :D

And I am now going to be a stalker and look at which ending you got, FP.

How long are we talking exactly, to get all the endings and stuff in this? 999 took me over 30 hours in total (according to the activity log), and VLR seems like it's even bigger! But I guess it's also easier to track your progress in it, and take alternate paths, so it might not take as much time...

Also, one or two people have docked it points for story-related stuff. Am I right in thinking the ending(s) might be a bit disappointing compared to 999, and the overall plot and characterisation isn't as strong perhaps?

Between 30 and 40 hours of playtime. The flow chart does cut down on the guesswork as to what will get a different ending.

I wouldn't say that the characterisation and plot aren't strong personally. Some very clever twists and interesting concepts and characters.

How long to complete 999 (on average)? I'll be boshing through that before taking on VLR.

Got this yesterday from VG+ and sunk about 2 hours into it already. The English voices are excellent, shame they're not in the UK release.

    Wonderful game.

Better with the English VO apparently, but worth another 30%?

Almost 26 hours done now and think I've finally found the path to the "true" ending (assuming there is one of course...)

All coming together nicely. Remarkable game.

Depends - around 6-8 hours on one playthrough (depend on how stuck you get on the puzzles), most of which would consist of reading through the (slow) text. However, to get all six endings, as I said above you're looking at around 20-30hrs in total.

Ok i can see why the VO have made an impression with people. Zero III just wouldn't be the same. It's really good. During the novel can you save and it saves you place where you saved?
