Currently being wildly addicted to dragons dogma makes me want to try monster hunter out, never really appealed before.

Damn this sale, I've ended up buying PoP:Rival Swords (port of Two Thrones), P3P and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

PoP looks awful, but I've always wanted to finish it after half starting on GC/Ps2 and after a while you just get drawn in to the wonderful platforming.
Is that the one with 'Dark Prince'? I seem to recall playing it on the PSP and never completed. It had some BLOODY annoying fighting bits, IIRC. Good luck enjoying that.

So I dl'd War of the Lions last night. More to play! I decided against getting FFIV because if I remember rightly I had it on UMD and was utterly put off by the random battle frequency. Shame because of how well regarded the story is and at 8 it is an utter bargain given the amount of content.

Fate/Extra tomorrow - sub 20 and I'm all over that too... However, I'm expecting a price point more in line with P3P and TitS.

    Good game, that.

I was wondering if GTA "Stories" games (LCS, VCS) are available on the UK PSN Store (through the Vita) and how much are they, anyone knows?
I loved those two on the PSP and they have just made the LCS available on the US PSN for the Vita.
It's just that at $19.99 I find it a bit pricey...

They're both on the Vita store, 7.99 I think?

I actually got LCS for free - there was a mix up when it was first launched on the store and you could download it for nothing. Same with Manhunt 2. Not that I've ever played that...

@Murbal Why, you don't like beating the living shit out of people with a baseball bat?
    /sarcasm off
@everybody else Thanks for the info.

Manhunt 2 is actually a very decent game. It's totally overhyped in the grimness stakes.

After my switch to an EU PSN account I've got Ys 7.
Either are the bosses too hard (on hard) or I am too slow. Can't even beat the second one (the wild boar thingy).
Also was wondering about The Warriors, never played it on the PSP. Curious about Manhunt 2, too. Does it have some kind of story?

Its been a while since I played it. Its really polished. It has a story as I recall. Mrpon has played it too I think. Maybe his memory is better?

Yeah it's good, quite long as well for a handheld and yes it has an ok story to it, if unoriginal. Gritty graphics, think film grain and gruesome in parts of course. Well worth the asking price, even more so for me as it was free! Thanks Sony.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Despite it saying PSP only, is Monster Hunter Freedom (MH1) one of those games that still works on Vita if you download it to your PS3 first and transfer it? I want to get rid of my UMD copy y'see.....

Can't remember who was asking about it, but I'm enjoying Adventures to Go! quite a lot so far. The graphics really don't look good and I swear the directional controls in battle are designed to annoy me (luckily any directional moves can be cancelled though) but the gameplay is good fun and the main character's complete lack of altruism is somewhat refreshing.

On another note, I have managed to get completely stuck in FFI. :p No idea what to do whatsoever. I've retravelled to every location I can but can't seem to get into the building/dungeon that I'm sure I'm supposed to (by process of elimination-there seem to be only two 'new' locations left and one isn't accessible)... I may have to be a terrible cheat and look it up online as another hour or so of random battles as I wander around purposelessly may just be the end of me. Think I must be pretty close to the end, though.

@Cosmopolitan The PSP GTA games are down to 4 each on the PSN by the way if you're still interested in them.

The GTA ones are until 15th August (the sale games all seem to end at different times, weirdly). What happened to your Vita?

Downloaded Mana Khemia and it's bloody excellent. Any load times are pretty much non-existant (which appeared to be the main problem with it before) and it plays great. The story is all kinds of mad, but it's quite fun.

That is strange. I'm using my SA account, but content is usually the same as the UK store.

I'm getting The Warriors. Had no idea that it's a port of the PS2 version.
