I think it's hot among women. Judging by my post apocalyptica pinboard they love it.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

I'm looking forward to it returning to US screens next week terrible writing, terrible acting, terrible CGI. It's a clusterfuck of epic proportions.

I was thinking he was a truly awful actor who probably did a sexual favour for the job and must be killed off soon.

    He is now dead.

    Show is still bad.

Hopefully with the whole 'let's save my brother ' plot out of the way the show can concentrate on the power. ie what it should have been from episode one. Killing off Charlie and the other annoying kid wouldn't hurt either.

Watched the first two episodes and not sure how I feel about it. Gus is really good in it again (he will forever be Gus to me) and I don't mind that Billy Burke fella, even if the fight choreography is a bit shit.

That main wifey though..jesus she is annoying. Not only does she have a face like a rusty a spanner (that stink eye she was giving the bounty hutner bloke looked like she was constipated) but it is obvious that she is there to perform two functions:

    a) make me feel attracted to her (see above rusty spanners comment)
    b) Make stupid decisions to further the plot / whine about stupid things to show she has a conscience.

The whole thing just seems a bit cheesy and it looks like one of those shows where a few characters will be good to watch but they won't quite make up for the rest of the annoying shit. It took about 27 minutes into the series for the predictable 'lead female character threatened with Rape' thing which now apparently is all the rage in the media.

I'll probably watch a few more but I'm surprised that with Favraeu directing it wasn't a bit more entertaining.

I'm watching Revolution but I neither like nor dislike it. It's a passable way to waste an hour but otherwise completely forgettable. It reminds me of Terra Nova, Flash Forward and Falling Skies in that the series has a really intriguing concept but squanders it on dull plots and even duller characters.

I'll stick with it for a few more episodes just to give a chance but unlike say, the superb American Horror Story, which I've just watched season 1 of back to back on BD, Revolution doesn't exactly have me itching to see the next episode. But maybe that's just me?

PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox One, PC (Intel Core i7-4770K, 16 GB, 3 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780, Windows 8.1 Pro), iPad 4, iPad mini with Retina Display.

Ive been watching it on sky. Its an odd show, not great or completely terrible and a good enough way to switch off and kill an hour.

Yeah I'm watching it on sky too. Can't help feeling this would have been awesome if they put the main story just months after the blackout when everything turned to shit.

Yeah they rushed ahead too soon. I know they keep going back with flashbacks but half the time its back to nothing. The main character is annoying more often than not and she needs to learn to not use such OTT mouth movements when talking.

Nice body but that's it right now.

Still like the show myself and Farscape creator Rockne S. O'Bannon has signed on for Revolution S2.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, O'Bannon will serve as an executive producer behind Kripke, meaning he’ll definitely be involved in the day-to-day operations.

Three of the worst shows that had incredible promise I've ever seen, and oddly enough TN and FS are exactly what came to mind when I read the premise for this show, so I didn't put it on my list.

    Sounds like the right decision.

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

A show that should have stopped after series 1, for sure.

Wrong season 3 of walking dead (fist half anyway, not caught up yet) was astoundingly good.

Is anyone else getting a bit bored with remastered games? Read my thoughts!

thats harsh, TN was one of the biggest name turds in a long while. Hoping revolution picks up as it could be really good

TWD season 3 starts off really good but the 2nd half is a zombie turd

Despite my early misgivings, I stuck with Revolution and actually enjoy it although I wouldn't go as far as to say it was brilliant or anything. Now the leads have been fleshed out a bit more and Monroe has gotten his hands on weapons technology then the series seems to have become more interesting. Also there have been several surprising (at least to me) deaths and the way some of the characters have changed allegiances at least means the formula hasn't gotten stale yet. Also, we know what caused the world-wide blackout so they didn't drag that out needlessly and there seems to be something deadly living in the Tower...

My main complaint with the series is how dumb some of the characters can be (or rather the writers making them appear that way). For example, Rachel breaks her leg and immediately I thought "Right, she's going to use the chip to heal herself" but, nope, it took another episode before she even considered it, granted there was the small risk of igniting the Earth's atmosphere if the nanites were misprogrammed. Also, Aaron was asking Rachel why he was in the book but the newspaper headline seems to indicate that it is his coding that they're using in the Tower so perhaps if he'd bothered to read it he might have one and one together...?

Still, the series is interesting enough to keep me recording it and then watching it every Saturday morning. Miles and Monroe are the two characters driving the show as well as Neville, the black guy who also played Gus Fring in Breaking Bad. The other characters are a little bland, especially Charlie and Aaron. The latter more because he doesn't have that much interesting stuff to do.

PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox One, PC (Intel Core i7-4770K, 16 GB, 3 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780, Windows 8.1 Pro), iPad 4, iPad mini with Retina Display.
