Had no idea about Lego Cuusoo before today. It's where they come up with the croud-sourced ideas for new sets like the Minecraft set and the Hayabusa set.

Loads of cool designs and builds to look at. It's taking my mind off the delivery from Santa for me which I have to resist getting stuck into for the next three weeks.

    The Imperial Shuttle.

I let one of my friends persuade me that I should get it for myself. Well, I asked them if there was any way I could justify it and they said something which was close enough for me!

Good thing I wasn't home this afternoon as I would have wound up spending the $256 that the Super Star Destroyer was for sale at from Target for a while.

    [link url=http://toysnbricks.com/]
Toys and Bricks[/link] is a great site for deals on Lego. It's global, so plenty of deals for you UK types. Such as the Y-Wing for half off. It's a great set btw :)

@Khanivor - You like Star Wars and can't get this in the US due to licensing issues, but Amazon ship abroad - 3866 Battle of Hoth game cheap at Amazon

I don't need any more Lego ideas to spend money on! There's sales a-plenty over here and I'm having a hard time not going mental. I mean, I have to get the Fire Brigade from Amazon as not only is it on sale but my Amazon Visa card means I can get $20 off of a $`00+ toy order and I'll have six months 0% interest on the purchase. I'd be a fool not to...

I am managing to resist the Super Star Destroyer even though it's $90 off at the moment. Looks like a boring build and I've retained enough wits not to drop $300 on a Lego set.

Well, not a single Lego set...

Got the boys Lego Minecraft as a surprise for Christmas. They are obsessed with the game. Only place I could find it was direct from Lego.

It's hard to find and apparently limited to orders of one per household.

Is anyone here interested in a minifigure swap, as we now have 10 duplicates, so it's probably time to get rid of some.

    We have

    Series 5

    Eskimo Fisherman x 2
    Zookeeper

    Series 7

    Evil Knievel
    Girl with guitar x 2
    Evil Knight
    Caveman with monkey x2
    Swimmer

Will basically swap for anything we haven't got already, but my daughter is particularly keen on the bride or Red Riding Hood from series 7

send me a PM if you're interested, as none of her friends at school seem to collect them!

That one is lovely isn't it? I'm really tempted by the recycling bins and truck they have as well.

    LEGO city for the win!

    I got a Lego X-Wing for Christmas \o/

The only niggly thing about it, is the fact the Astromech droid is mounted sideways.

I guess that's a limit of the size of the kit, but I think for a little more on its price tag, and more pieces, to have a larger scale X-Wing and the droid sit properly, would be awesome. Still, a nice kit.
