Hmm, odd. The PS3 asks what profile I want every time I boot it up.

Boot up Netflix, I mean... not the console.
Are you sure it's not just asking if you want the full version or the kids' version? Not the same thing as profiles I don't think.
Nah, definitely the profiles. I've made one for me and one for my girlfriend. Every time I open Netflix I'm presented with the option of which I want to use.

Oh OK. I don't get that, but then I only have one profile. Ignore me!

This suggests it should be in the US too...

Edit:Should be available to all within 2 weeks

I'm an idiot! I only had one profile as well! Just added another for the in-laws and logged back into Netflix and all is well.

    This is really good.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

I'd have said one for the kids is more essential. Sodding cartoons clogging up my recommendations. I wish you could child-lock the main area too.

I swear I've had lists for weeks, at least. I've had stuff in it that I wanted to watch too. I watched Rosemary's baby the other week when flicking through my list.

I've never seen Max though, wanted to try it out but can't find the bugger anywhere.

We're back! Our gaming podcast Open Source returns after a break with a look at Destiny, Minecraft and more. Check us out! (And give us a rating on iTunes please!) :)

Ok so now it's showing 'My List' on the Netflix app, but I can't edit it or add to it in any way o_O

It's got stuff in there from back in the days when they had the 'Queue' feature, which was removed.

OK on Android, not tried PS3. On Canadian too. Separate list for each it seems

I only access Netflix from our Apple TV which doesn't seem to show anything like this feature. Is that because we haven't updated our ATV in well over a year because it's jailbroken and redoing the jailbreak is a risk/hassle? Or do they just not bother supporting that app?

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

There is shitloads extra. If you're still watvhing the UK version exclusively then you're doing it wrong.

Use Chrome and install the Hola Unblocker extension, with that you can easily change regions.

Yep, if you're on xbox, just change the dns settings and away you go. It even remembers your the settings you entered so you can switch between them and auto to change regions easily.

There isn't really much "more" so you aren't going to miss that much sticking with UK. There are enough differences that do make it worth your while to check out the other regions though, as Kay says you can use free extensions in your browser so it's worth doing. For now at least, Netflix don't seem to care you if jump from the US to UK and back in an hour :)

I use Unblock Us for region switching. Costs 3.23 per month so worth it in my opinion, as you can go to their website and change region in about 10 seconds, so very handy when on the sofa with an ipad and sitting in front of the 360/PS3.

Brazil & the scandanavian netflix's have quite a lot of stuff that isn't available on US & UK.

Are there any free solutions for PS3 McGeeza? It would be handy on PS3 but not essential so I don't really want to pay out (even if it is a couple of quid) for the rare times someone other than the kid uses netflix on it.

I don't know to be honest. I personally couldn't be arsed to enter a different DNS everytime i wanted to change region so i went for a cheap and easy solution.

I've entered the Unblock Us DNS on my router so it works for all devices in my house.

Why would they care? It's a win for them too - they aren't missing out on customers as you're never going to sign up to more than one region of Netflix, and they get to give their customers a broader selection without needing to buy licences for everything in each region.

The one annoying thing i've found about this is that Sky Go is crap and buffer-y with UnblockUS switched on, so i have to keep turning it on and off

I went with the elegant solution, a different region per Netflix device in my home.

My brother showed me unblock us and I was relatively impressed. Didn't have access to the latest Breaking Bad episode while using a US proxy so quickly logged in and disabled it, job done.

If I streamed on my TV more I would get it, but right now I just install Mediahint in my browser as a Google Chrome extension and enable/disable it as needed. Free and very easy if you watch stuff sat at your PC.

    Is MediaHint better than Proxmate?

Ah ok, so you just enable/disable it from the extensions menu? There is no country/location settings, US is default?

Correct on both questions. If you're looking for something with a bit more functionality I would look elsewhere. Mediahint just gives me quick access to the US Netflix and Hulu. No setting DNS's, just click and drag to install and then enable/disable depending on what I want.
