Just watched the whole season. I would give it 4 out of 5. Bit slow and the family bits were boring so I had to fast forward. Good points: Some unexpected twists in the plot and Claire Danes is sexy as hell. Her acting later on, though unpleasant is admirable. Don't like Damian Lewis though.I was hoping he would explode himself ha ha

Incredible series. I'm a late comer, having only just finished watching season 1 on BD but, boy, I was hooked after one episode and watched the entire series over the space of three days. The acting is top-notch, I especially like the actress who plays Carrie Mathison, and the writing is superb. I cannot believe I almost missed watching this. To be honest, this isn't normally the kind of thing I watch as I'm more in fantasy/SF/horror stuff but this is compulsive, gripping stuff.

I've just downloaded the first episode of season 2 and plan on watching it tomorrow at work.

PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox One, PC (Intel Core i7-4770K, 16 GB, 4 GB EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 SC, Windows 8.1 Pro), iPad 4, iPad mini with Retina Display.

@Mola_Ram Just watched it - don't think you'll be disappointed if you liked the first season.

    I'm looking forward to it.

I thought the end of series 1 was a bit of a cop out though, and it should have probably ended there, but can't wait to see how they go with this series.

With this and a new season of Boardwalk Empire, I feel thoroughly spoiled at the moment.

Shame True Blood and Dexter went down the crapper a few seasons ago.

When you can't see the angles on the wall you're in trouble.

Yeah pretty good season opener. I liked Carrie's psychotic smile there at the end.

I kind of didn't enjoy the new one. I don't know why. I just have a bad 24 feeling...
Hope I'm wrong as really enjoyed the first run.

    You dare to strike Scurrcules!?

If you like this you may like Tv show called sleeper cell. About fed agent infiltrating a Muslim terrorist cell in America. Liked the first season, never gave the 2nd one a chance

Pretty good first ep. Predictable and unpredictable.

I really enjoyed that episode. Tombo pretty got it nailed on, you knew that she was going to be brought back in, but the character physces have already got me wanting more.

Carrie smile at the end was great, and brody reaction to the "journalist" and the family revelation was fantastic.

Still think that Dana will be the 'get out' clause for brody. An interesting relationship, its healthy that she questions opinions and informs her own learning, which brody wants. Wonder how long it can last.

I like the bit where CTU is under threat and Chloe talks Carrie through the whole street chase.

    FCUTA!

So do the CIA really use Skype for their top secret international calls?

Don't wanna mix up the paces of you nice UK folk and us dirty pirates, so I'll just say I also enjoyed episode 2 and CLIFFHANGER.

Nearly every fucking episode there's a cliffhanger!

I'm fairly convinced that Saul has signed his own death warrant in finding the video. I can see that they could play it as the "we know he's bad, but he'll lead us to Abu Nazir if we don't say anything" thing, which would mean Saul doesn't have to die to add drama, but it seems ridiculous they'd keep Brody in a high position of government if they did that - especially if they put two and two together and work out it was Brody who warned Nazir. Interested to see how it'll play out.

I doubt that will happen. Saul isn't stupid. He would show the video to people - there's no reason for him not to. Sure, he might accidentally show it to whoever the mole is, but if a bunch of other people have seen it, there will be no way to stop the truth from spreading.

Although I suppose he could die randomly before he gets the chance to tell anyone. That could happen, but would be a bit of a 24-style cop-out.

I can think of two scenarios as to how it will play out:

    a) The CIA reveals what they know to Brody, and promises their silence (or a reduced plea bargain, etc.) in exchange for Brody helping to catch and/or kill Nazir.

    b) They keep it mum, and let Brody operate under the assumption that monitoring him will lead them to Nazir. Perhaps they could feed him false information or something.

Holy shit. That's a season finale worthy cliffhanger right there.

That episode was intense from start to finish. I need to lie down.

Is everyone watching at US pace? If not I might start a separate thread.

Probably best to start a US pace thread, wouldn't want to inadvertently give anything away to people watching on C4.

That was dumb in the latest episode along with the reporter in the first openly talking to brody about his terrorism links in a room he GUESSED wasn't bugged was a bit immersion breaking for me

I assumed the Skype thing was meant to be a particularly ridiculous piece of product placement given the logo on screen while they were using it.

A map is like comparing velocity and speed.
