Just watched the whole season. I would give it 4 out of 5. Bit slow and the family bits were boring so I had to fast forward. Good points: Some unexpected twists in the plot and Claire Danes is sexy as hell. Her acting later on, though unpleasant is admirable. Don't like Damian Lewis though.I was hoping he would explode himself ha ha

I'm a late comer, having only just finished watching season 1 on BD but, boy, I was hooked after one episode and watched the entire series over the space of three days. The acting is top-notch, I especially like the actress who plays Carrie Mathison, and the writing is superb. I cannot believe I almost missed watching this. To be honest, this isn't normally the kind of thing I watch as I'm more in fantasy/SF/horror stuff but this is compulsive, gripping stuff.

Registered 7 years agoI really enjoyed that episode. Tombo pretty got it nailed on, you knew that she was going to be brought back in, but the character physces have already got me wanting more.
Carrie smile at the end was great, and brody reaction to the "journalist" and the family revelation was fantastic.
Still think that Dana will be the 'get out' clause for brody. An interesting relationship, its healthy that she questions opinions and informs her own learning, which brody wants. Wonder how long it can last.PSN - Cloudsheaven

I can see that they could play it as the "we know he's bad, but he'll lead us to Abu Nazir if we don't say anything" thing, which would mean Saul doesn't have to die to add drama, but it seems ridiculous they'd keep Brody in a high position of government if they did that - especially if they put two and two together and work out it was Brody who warned Nazir. Although I suppose he could die randomly before he gets the chance to tell anyone. That could happen, but would be a bit of a 24-style cop-out.
I can think of two scenarios as to how it will play out:
a) The CIA reveals what they know to Brody, and promises their silence (or a reduced plea bargain, etc.) in exchange for Brody helping to catch and/or kill Nazir.
b) They keep it mum, and let Brody operate under the assumption that monitoring him will lead them to Nazir. Perhaps they could feed him false information or something. -
