    You brave little soldier!

Arthritis in my left knee is killing me today, but I'm still gonna go for a walk at lunch to enjoy this weather. To hells with it!

The tooth was already dead and I hate the feeling you get after the injection - numb face is no fun.

    ...

And I'm a very brave little soldier!

I once broke my arm playing hockey, then finished the match. Went home, had dinner then went to hospital. They then tried to put the bone back into position, having given me nothing for the pain.
I was a brave little soldier

Now I set off metal detectors.

Anaesthetic's moved on now, they don't even inject you any more. No idea what they did to me at the dentist's last time I had work done but it wasn't an injection and was very localised, no numbface for me.

So to sum up, you were a brave little soldier for no good reason.

It's like the Iraq war in your mouth.

To be fair if you have no sensation in your tooth, why bother getting a shot?
Unless you're not a brave little soldier I guess.

    Late New Years Eve 2008.

Pulled out one of my back teeth (it had split down the middle) with a leatherman and copious amounts of Smirnoff for dessert.

I wasnt at all brave about it.

1 minutes of crunching, agony compared to the constant shooting pain i was enduring seemed like a good deal at the time. I was sober when I did it and hit the vodka during and after.

I've not been back to a dentist after a terrible experience with a root canal in my teens. Worst. Pain. Ever.

I am not a brave little soldier, I am a cowardly little consciencious objector.

Today I accidentally glanced at a Jin Type Noir post, fell asleep at my desk, and woke up dazed some hours later. My boss is angry, but I'm taking his rage in my stride.

    I'm a Brave Little Soldier.

I've been coming into work with the worst manflu ever, expecting no sympathy and manfully striving not to cover my keyboard and colleagues with noseleaks and projectile sneeze gloop.

I'm a brave little snot trooper.

I had slightly ingrowing nails on each of my big toes. Enough pain that when I walked my toes were agony.

I cut them both off with a scalpel and a razor blade, and lots of tissue paper.

    I AM A BRAVE SOLDIER

I had to go through this when I had my wires removed after a broken wrist.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgFwRaPmc2U&feature=related
I had six wires and it took a doctor and a nurse to remove them.
No anaesthetic, I was chewing on the peak of my hat.

Pliers are the manly version of tweezers, anything that sticks out can be removed in one quick pull.
