Not at all as I wanted the PS Vita game on a card as the download is 3.3 GB in size. I would rather use that space for download only titles and demos as even my 32 GB memory card is getting full.|
Anyway, the PS3 version came on Monday and it is really excellent with a graphical clarity far above and beyond what the PS Vita is capable of, although it still looks great for a handheld. It is actually very impressive how well the Vita version stands up to the PS3 version as all the content, FMV and voices are there and the 30 fps framerate is actually more stable than the erratic 60 fps of the bigger version (there lots of sudden drops to what feels like 30 fps during the PS3 version, especially when panning the camera around).
The CrossSave feature works perfectly too and is a bit of a life saver because the touchscreen controls are an absolute nightmare during the boss battles at the end of each world as you have to quickly switch costumes and abilities and the occasional lack of responsiveness often results in yet another frustrating death. I've managed to beat both bosses on the Vita version but now I will upload the save and do them instead in the PS3 version as the abilities are mapped to R2 and L2 and so much easier to use during a heated battle. I will then upload the PS3 save back to the PS Vita. Honestly, the touchscreen controls during the boss battles are the only real negative thing I can say about this game as it makes them so much harder to do on the Vita IMO.
