So Duck's been bitten and has been going downhill. Time to stop the train. Katjaa needs a final moment in the woods with him before Lee puts him out of his misery.

F***ing hell this game is harsh. Tears. Genuine tears.

Then the game failed big time technically and I couldn't finish the episode. Hope it's sorted itself out when I go back to it

I really hope you can carry on again, but just in case you have issues with ep 3, and have to start it again, when you use chapter select, it should have saved all your previous decisions. I loaded ep 5 and it started ep 1 for some reason.
I nearly panicked since it had overwritten my save by the time I realised, but I went back to chap 5 and it still had kept all my choices intact. -

Registered 1 year agoJust downloaded the season pass on PSN and I'm enjoying it. The animation is fucking shocking though and it's glitchy as hell. Expected it to be slicker for 16 quid. -

Registered 1 year agoIt's a testament to how much i'm enjoying the game that after playing through the 1st and 2nd episodes I'm not asking for a refund. I can't believe they got away with the 0.5-5 second freezes between camera cuts and the general graphical glitches. This game would be perfect if it was smoother. Is this a PS3 port problem? I'm sure it's discussed in this very thread but don't want to delve in yet for fear of spoilers. -

Registered 7 years agoI've had those problems (slow-down and juddering) 360...Quite odd as I didn't think the engine would be so taxing...
No problems with the dialog though...AcidSnake - He can't see your sig, avatar, images or vids and talks about himself in the third person because he's proper old-skool...UID 24017

Registered 3 years agoI've just finished EP3, I must be dead inside because I can't seem to care about any of the characters. Old or young. Even the stupid little kid you find in a tree that follows you about.
Still enjoying the game though. -

To be honest, I think you may either have a problem with your download of the game, or even a hard drive problem. Do you have problems with audio on any other games? -

Registered 9 years agoI had those same issues with the 360 version. On one or two occasions I thought the game had actually frozen.
As already mentioned, it's a Telltale thing, all their games have been like that. Certainly wasn't enough to put me off the game.

Registered 1 year ago@Graveland No problems with other games, It's a 2 year old 160gb slim and I've only ever had 1 or 2 crashes.The machine is sound as far as I know. I'm tempted to try downloading it again though as it's getting worse in ep3. -

Registered 7 years agoAll sorts of stutters, pauses, anims not loading in time and audio issues for me too (PS3) but nothing that ruined the game in any way. Still one of my GOTYs.
My favourite bug was some brief dialogue that happened at the end of an episode and didn't play for me at all. I only found out about in the recap at the start of the next episode. -

Registered 1 year ago@Weebleboy After reading up on the Telltale forum I've found disconnecting from the PSN improves things. Still get the odd shutter and glitch during 'realtime' play but it does dramatically improve performance between dialog choices. Apparently it's down to the game not sending your info to the Telltale servers for the summary at the end of each episode.
Really enjoying this game though. Made me check out the Sam & Max and Monkey Island stuff they've done, but no way are they getting 20 quid off me for each! -

Registered 10 years agoWOW WHAT A GAME! Just completed this game tonight , so addictive and so gripping. Played through all five episodes over the last week or two. Have it on ps3 and had no problems , a few minor split second splitters but nothing significant. I am wondering if there are any / many different endings to the final episode??!! -

Registered 10 years agoI had saved the final episode as I didn't want it to end. Well... for starters I had to replay episode 4 end two times (pc) until I understood that the save was glitchy. It didn't start ep5, just stated that it's not released yet. One hour of googling and tinkering with save files and then again end of ep4 replay and THEN FINALLY I got to play ep5.
Was awesome, but when it was finished... All my decisions summarized nicely by Telltale:

Luckily it didn't ruin it completely as I could google the answers, but still, WTF. Gameplay was a bit twitchy as well with me. Hopefully they are gonna fix these issues for the next games, those really spoil otherwise fantastic game!
