It won't. I'll put a bet on that it'll less even less than the 360/PS3 versions.

So many excellent games have been released on the Wii that would also be perfect for the target audience (A Boy and His Blob, Okami, de Blob, and Little King's Story are a few that immediately spring to mind, all of which sold about 102 copies combined). But unless it's Mario or Wii Keep Fit Dance Party Experience it just won't sell.

The only people that buy these kinds of games on the Wii, are people like you and me. The kids or the casuals, both of which the game would be perfect for, just couldn't give a shit.

My thoughts exactly. I might actually pick this up before Christmas, will be a nice change of pace from Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3 which the wife is getting me for Christmas.

I like it when he's angry.

Stunning reminds me of the megadrive and snes platformers of the 90s. Problem is in this modern era of teenagers and modern warfare at 30-40 quid it's gonna flop big style.

Will defo buy but there are so many games out at the mo it's crazy. Plus why go through the quiet summer period only to bury this amongst mw3 bf3 skyrim and batman its commercial suicide.

If they advertise it well, I'm sure it'll sell. Getting this on my birthday in mid-December but it almost seems to long a wait.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Buy this game, it is the most beautiful game in years and a lot of fun to play. Been playing through it with my son and daughter and we are having a riot. It will probably be rather challenging solo though, without being able to revive eachother.

Is there online multiplayer for this, or is it local only? I loved the demo when I played it. I imagine it works really well in co-op, although didn't get to try that

Just tried the demo with my 4 yr old. Bloody gorgeous! Never seen anything like it. I'll wait a little for more price drops then I'll definitely pick it up.

No online multiplayer unfortunately. It's the one thing they really should have included.

The single player is so good I don't mind though.

Finished all the levels, the ending was pretty funny. Have 7 of the 10 teeth, apparently the really hard levels unlock when you get them all. Need to replay pretty much all the levels the get enough elektoons to unlock the other teeth, which is no bad thing.

Love this game, and my kids do too.

I showed my friend the demo yesterday and I think it won him over. We thought we were done with it when we got the extra costume but then I set him a challenge to try and finish the first level without getting a single lum (I think that's what they're called). It changed the game completely, though we did have to alter it to the fewest lums possible as some were impossible to avoid. I think he ended with 13ish.

But anyway, I loved the demo and I will definately pick it up in the sales after christmas (would like to now but I have no money) and I can't wait for it. I hope more developers will see that a game doesn't have to have realistic graphics to look amazing.

Does the PS3 multiplayer allow each player to sign-in and collect trophies as per LBP?

Why can't all games give you the option of changing difficulties?

I have hit a wall where I can't get the remaining bits I need to defeat some of the bosses due to lack of talent/patience. Nor am I going to restart the game and do it all again.

    Arrrggghhh!!!!!!

    @AceGrace

There isnt a choice of difficulties on this game is there? It can be a little frustrating in places but it really is just trial and error. Failing that can you find anyone to co-op with? i heard you can revive each other.
  • Deleted user 17 December 2011 20:35:19
Co-op is much, much easier, except for the levels where you're chasing or being chased, at which point it becomes a frantic nightmare. So by extension it's also a nightmare for beating the time challenges too.

Just go back and polish off earlier levels, I haven't found anything hugely frustrating yet (though I'm only midway through the cloud levels after defeating the four bosses, no idea how far that is through the game, but I suspect it's closeish to the end).

There was a stinker of a level right near the end of the game, a chase section where if you slipped up once, it was pretty much restart. Those chasing the chest levels are the same, trial and error until you perfect the level basically, bloody hard for sure.

I dont think platformers need difficulty levels, unless they somehow changed the levels up completely, platformers are all about knowing the level and nailing it to perfection.
