|Lordy the Pawn system looks great...talk about adding depth and an online component.|
Been looking on the official website and that Chimera looks awesome, and sounds a real challenge with each head attacking you independently.|
Really looking forward to this

|Hopefully this is good capcom and not utter shit capcom. The very first dark souls copycat, knew it wouldn't take long.|
Defeat is not getting knocked down, but refusing to get back up.
|Hardly say it's a copycat, as such.|
To be honest, it all looks a bit too good to be true...|
Very excited, in a reserved kinda way.
|Was hyped after seeing the first footage some time ago. Glad to see there is more depth to it than I thought|

Capcom as a publisher could still fuck with us, so we'll still need to wait and see, but from the team's track record, this is the good capcom.
It doesn't seem to be dark soul's copy cat either, it's more like dragon age + oblivion in action game form and they even said that's where they did their research on.

|I've been watching one of those videos for a while and it doesn't seem to have much of Monster Hunter at all. Looks pretty good though (apart from the usual Capcom camera, of course).|
|This is really looking incredible, but still, I'm a little dubious of Capcoms ability to follow through on this.|
|Call me cautiously optimistic. I like the survival horror elements of having to get to shelter before dark. Overall it looks like a different take on the open-world RPG.|
First 30 mins, this site will do updates |
|actually looking forward to this, it might break my promise of not buying any more games for a while!|
|Got my eye on this as well just because everything on the calender is a sequel. Hopefully the gameplay holds up and the ai dont ruin the experience.|
|Judging by the gameplay videos the AI characters need reviving once in a while. But if I understood correctly it doesn't even matter if you don't revive them in time - they'll just spawn back in the city.|
|Heads up...there is a live stream of gameplay currently on at gametrailers...not sure for how much longer though.|
Suprised at the lack of hype for this. Actually, no, I'm not, given how little Capcom are marketing it. |
Even though the game lacks co-op, I'm coming around to the idea that it's for the best, especially if the pawns AI is descent. The online component sounds pretty interesting, looking forward to seeing how that works.
I'm feeling confident that the game will turn out well, considering how much of it Capcom are showing off through live streams etc.
This is my most anticipated game of the year, trumping even Bioshock and Diablo 3 for now.

I Think the Co-op using AI driven pawns is a better system than in Dark Souls, S&O and Gwynn are nigh on impossible single handedly, even the two gargoyles are difficult first time round.|
If you lose internet connection or the servers go offline those fights could become unplayable, It seems much more sensible to have an AI download, which at least gives you some assistance than none at all.
As great as DS was when in a Co-op session against a boss it was also it's weakest link for the fights that absolutely require it if your not a ninja gamer .
I think you've nailed it there. Not having that reliance on others is very appealing, particularly at the moment where I don't want to spent the little free time I have in lobbies or waiting on others. This new system will also give you a sense of 'ownership' over your pawn and maybe help create an emotional bond (wishful thinking!)|
PS: I one-shotted S&O on my own, I guess that makes me OP!
|As Monster Hunter has proven, anyone can be a ninja gamer if they practise enough. I'm generally shit at games but I conquered everything in MHFU solo. Would have done in Tri if they hadn't actually blocked you out from content in single player.|
|Is anyone else reading previews and seeing comments about "ropey graphics" and wondering what the writers are on about? OK, it's not got that hi-res shininess of things like FF XIII, but watching the videogamer.com playthrough mentioned above and seeing the Chimera, especially the way they've blended the different creature types, I'm more than impressed by what I've seen. There may be a slightly odd art style in places, which can probably be put down to japanese interpretation of middle-ages Europe, but that doesn't make it bad.|
Agreed, YenRug. I can understand if they are not explicitly praised, but that's about it. Sometimes games look/feel different suddenly on your own screen even in comparison to 1080p streams, but I'll be surprised if they will bother me in any way, shape or form.|
Really can't wait for the demo.
Chaps as someone who has no idea about the game is it a SP campaign or supposed to be played co-op a la Borderlands, out of the box.|
