Worst minigame ever

    I've been playing Mass Effect 2's Lair of the Shadow Broker over the weekend and had forgotten how much of a chore planet scanning was. Even patched, it's slow, clunky and tedious. There must be worse out there than it, so remind me EGers!

    What is your most hated minigame?

    Anything that's a slide puzzle. I can't do, and I hate, slide puzzles.

    I've turned off all the avatars and crap, so don't expect me to be impressed by yours.

    Hacking in Puzzle Quest Galactrix. In that you have to do it again and again and again until you want to let the bullet take the pain away.

    I might also say forklift racing in Shenmue, but it was so bizarre and random that it was awesome in its own way.

    Pretty much all of them in Alpha Protocol, especially thge door circuit one. 10 connections in 20 seconds in not humanly possible!

    The hacking mini game to enable you to control turrets and whatnot. Very, very tedious.

    Yeah, it was complete bullshit when some puzzles were literally *impossible* to complete. Didn't make me give up, though.

    I liked Bioshock's pipe minigame. Towards the end it was a bit trial and error-y but I enjoyed it overall. And slide puzzles are a thinking man's minigame :D

    Hacking in New Vegas sucks arse. There seem to be way more words than in FO3, and less bracket code things. With only 4 tries, it really comes down to guessing a lot of the time. Three guesses, log out, log in, guess again, etc.

    Not the worst ever, though.

    The music playing one in TWII is fookin mega hard.
    I could not get the five finger one on RDR either.
    A few in Saw.
