BTW Anyone sending goods back to Zavvi- send it recorded even though it is going to cost you - as without that, when your return inevitably goes missing, they wont refund you. Sent three items back after christmas, all went missing, all were refunded when I produced the tracking numbers showing they had received them. Similar comments from others on hotukdeals and elsewhere. Dont send it back standard post as you will never get anything back.

Registered 11 years agoIt's 30 quid on Amazon as well now.
I did wonder why it was rated as a PEGI 18 though, it's in no way an 18, glad to see the BBFC aren't as daft.

@oldschoolsoviet I had the same problem with zavvi but after ringing them and telling the advisor that I was outraged and to tell the duty manager that I'm going to cancel and reorder at the new price and would be utter madness for me to return this then reorder. After waiting on hold she came back to me saying their going to refund me. So give em hell mate.

Had one or two annoying bits, but all in all was a great feeling shooter with a nice unique setting and a surprising amount of character. -

Registered 3 years agoI enjoyed it throughout, although some parts dragged a little, but the final third is outstanding.
Brilliant little surprise, totally recommend it.
Edit: The robot and boss animations are world class, too!

Registered 5 years agoI think I'm going to put my remaining Game reward points and £5 voucher for the ME3 cancellation towards this. Assuming they let me.
I was going to hold off, but I should probably support this game while it's a decent price as it sounds like it should be good fun. -

Registered 4 years agoWhile I'm enjoying this, the bad squad AI is really getting to me. They've made both bosses I've fought so far a bit of a pain. Hopefully it'll get patched up. It's my only gripe really apart from slightly wonky cover mechanics. I love shooting all the bits off the robots, seeing all their bits of armour fly off never gets old
For the emperor!

Loved it, finished it
Didnt have a problem with the squad AI as its not like its easy for them to die and theyre only really providing moving targets or adding their firepower (normal difficulty). I too availed myself of the £37 Game trade in, good look making any money on that suckas....... -

Registered 7 years agoThat's the one thing with this game, whenever it should seem trite, clichéd, or tongue-in-cheek, it doesn't matter. The huge grin you have makes it redundant. Loved chatting to the folk in the cafe after the tunnel/sewer, where one gent in particular practically shat himself when I confirmed that yes, we were a highly skilled multi-national ass-kicking team. I think sporting the LMG/RPG combo gave that away.......You can read this ? You've helped ruin the place.

Registered 3 years agoWell that was a blast! Story was alright for a game too!
Gonna give 3rd person shooters a wide berth after this - the way the robots crumble and fall apart when you shoot them is just too good and will be sadly missed in the next game i play.
I will admit to holding the L2 trigger the odd time in an attempt to slide boost though
Girl, you thought he was a man, but he was a muffin.

Registered 6 years agoDecided to take a chance on this, now that it's under £15 on ShopTo; not my usual sort of game, but after finishing ME3 and having a quick go on the demo it seems to play pretty well and more responsive to cover commands. Just need to not shoot my partners all the time... -

Registered 10 years agoManaged to finally finish today. Enjoyable stuff.
Interaction between the characters, the dialogue, and cuts scenes were all top notch. Some of the best I have seen in a game TBH.
Trading it in straight away though. A lack of coop story (That REALLY bothered me, game should be a natural for a coop story mode) and a poor attempt at a hoard means no replayability for me. -

Registered 2 years agoJust finished this. What a great game.
I almost turned it off at the beginning because it smacked of generic third-person shooter, but it really took off after a while and stayed solid throughout. -
Just started chapter 3 on the PC version and have to say I'm really enjoying it so far.
It's a reasonable port too with the only real quirk being no mouse control in the main menu, but as I'm playing it with a pad it's a minor point for me but it seems to be irking a lot of folks on message boards (shock).
Straight port or not I'm glad Sega are happy to keep supporting the PC market.
