Haha, I still think they'll go down. Least I hope they do, I'd still like to see Remy at Newcastle.

Nah, he looks quality, I'm sure he'll be setting his sights a little higher.

To be fair, if he keeps this up then there will be bigger clubs in for him. Can see him going to Spurs.

Spurs can do better. I really mean that. And Spurs should go for better. Elite, if not world class.

Spurs will have a lot of money when Bale moves to a bigger club in the summer. I can't see them in the likes of Remy, I'm pretty sure they'll set their sights higher.

Happy with a point considering. No idea if it was a penalty but Clattenburg was as shit as ever so probably not. For the first time all season we are struggling to create decent chances which is a bad sign. Also snow in march? Easily one of the coldest games I've been to this season.

Hopefully Michael "we haven't lost a league game he's started" Dawson keeps Suarez quiet...

Spurs are leaving it pretty late for their meltdown but I'm still quietly optimistic it'll happen and that tomorrow could be the start of it

What a crap decision to rob Swansea of a point. Basic stuff.

Harry Redknapp is such a jammy git. Last week they beat Southampton despite having about 29% possession. Today they won courtesy of two ridiculous worldies. Now everyone is spouting this Harry Houdini bullshit. I don't mean any offense to any QPR fans, but I really hope they go down.

Doesn't matter how they come, 3 points are 3 points. Gives me the hump too but hard to argue. Remy looks a class act

To expect us to completely meltdown is about as reasonable as expecting us to keep up our current form until the end of the season.

We will lose, and it could well be today. I seriously doubt we will capitulate like we did last season though, but whether whether a seven point gap will be enough is another matter.

Indeed. It will have to come to an end,and a defeat at Anfield is a perfectly acceptable place to lose. I too, have strong reservations about a guaranteed 3/4 place, but that doesn't necessarily meaning Spurs will suddenly become ineffectual and not win from now until May.

That said, it's only history that is making us look downwards instead of up. We're still more focused on Arsenal than we are on Chelsea despite the reality of the table, and we're closer to City than Arsenal are to us.

We shouldn't lose our heads, but we should be confident in our quality and try not to worry so much about what's happening below us.

Yep. City are ctachbale, we're closer to them than Arsenal. Why not go for it?

Still, need to beat the mid-table teams in order to do that, starting today.

Spurs will get 4th at least IMO. I can't see them dropping a seven point lead on us but also, I can't see us going on the kind of run needed to overhaul such a gap if Spurs do have a few slip ups.

I wa more confident last season because we went on a very good run before we ran out of full backs in January. But this season we've been so inconsistent and unfortunately I don't see anything to change that.

Surely it was the run that started in late February that turned it around?

Yeah we went to shit at the end of last season and barely scraped over the line on the last day IIRC

Pretty much. Plus last season, we had already had a few decent unbeaten runs (14 games before Jan iirc), this year we've managed 5. Twice. Just don't think we'll find the consistency needed this year.

Think I'll start off with the cup match and reassess at half time.
