Eh? Well of course I'm bitter at Van Persie winning, I made it clear.
You're just being whiney. Liverpool fans are happy they won and ar elooking forward to MoTD, and you decide to piss on their chips for no good reason other than the fact that you lost.

    That's very different.

Anyways, clearly I'm gonna leave this place tonight. When people are in this mood, it's never fun to be around.

Super mistakes from Fergie today indeed. No idea why Giggs and Young weren't the subbed players. Both were totally shit.
Loved the NCFC chant to Young ("There's only one Tom Daley").
Is there some kind of history with Norwich? Or do they just not like him?

I can't imagine that. Just to be sure better go through the 86000 posts and check.

How is it being whiney? Genuinely find it funny that a Liverpool fan is that happy with a win against Wigan and still being in the bottom half and United losing and being second. People constantly rip the piss out of every team on here yet me laughing at Liverpool's situation is pissing on someone's chips being bitter?

God this place is funny. If I stick to Chelsea and Spurs lols it's acceptable yeah?

I think it says a lot about the top of the table that both City and United have both been playing poor but are 1,2.

I'm not sure it's a good idea for a current player to be on Match of The Day.

We were great today. Shame we couldn't keep a clean sheet but you can't have everything. Looking forward to seeing the goals on motd as the view from the away end wasn't the best.

Hughes looks to have lost the fans, can't see him having a job for much longer. Feel a bit for him as some of his big name players didn't look like they cared. Taarabt in particular seems a bit precious.

That Arsenal victory doesn't sit right with me. Score is very flattering, and although I can't fault the players who all gave their best, we had the rub of the green in so many ways. There were the usual mistakes at the back and in the middle of the park, and on any other day Spurs would have slaugthered us. They didn't have their best 11 and didn't quite turn up properly, but still, at 4-2 you sensed they could have come back in the game with a bit more luck or better decisions.
Not happy with our midfield, too many players in the same mould, we need a DM for sure. I'm starting to see the Song shaped hole in our MF far more than any other problem. And so does the opposition.

I'm happy with the 3 points mate, but I'm still very worried. It just seems it doesn't take much to go through our midfield and defence and score, which has been happening a lot recently. We're not always going to recover after going one goal down, in fact we didn't against Norwich and Man United.

Ok TBB, let's say we miss a 'Midfield Enforcer' type then! ;)

I agree that the scoreline was a little flattering. It's amazing that, at 4-2 and five minutes remaining, I still wasn't fully confident we would win the game.

Still, we ended up putting five past Spurs and picked up three points. You can only beat what's put in front of you.

That was one of the most bizarre penalty calls I've seen in that City game. Surely when no one appeals he realises his mistake?

Soon you'll be asking why Gervinho isn't like Hleb. :D

I hear you though. There's no point in going knee-jerk and swinging from one spectrum to the other; one minute we're doomed and wenger out, then today it's all awesome and we're gonna win the league. We still have the same issues.
We do need a physical presence in our midfield. Unfortunately, Wenger decided to put all his eggs in one basket.....a Diaby-shaped basket.

I'm a big fan. Have been since his Feyo days. He was always my "to go to" cheap CB players with great potential in either FM or FIFA, so kept an eye on his ever since.

Arsenal have a couple of central enforcers. Diaby is just always injured and Frimpong is a tool.

Suarez dancing on someone's ankles again. How the fuck does he get away with it?

Diaby is not an MF enforcer in any world. Have you ever actually watched him play?

Anyway, have to say fair play to Norwich, usually I'm more annoyed at losses but it's hard to be annoyed when the opposition deserves the win and they certainly did. Great goal too.

Yes, obviously. His game is basically the same as Song's as far as I'm concerned. So if he's a MF enforcer then...

He's certainly no attacking midfielder as he can barely shoot for shit, and his touch is pretty average too.

Feel no sympathy for Hughes whatsoever. He left Fulham because they wouldn't let him spunk their money away, went to QPR because they would. he did and now they will be in serious trouble if they get relegated.

Well your first mistake is thinking his game is the same as Songs, its not and never has been.
in fact, up until he came to arsenal, he spent his entire career as an attacking midfielder. Attacking is his game, and he can shoot (what an odd thing to say). In fact he can dribble past 10 people.

that's his problem, he dribbles and dribbles and dribbles.....then gives the ball away, then injured.

But he's no midfield enforcer, nothing of the sort.

And has Hughes been fired yet? Surely his stint is over now, and what a humbling experience it has been, a bolt to bring him back to reality. Managing City somehow made him think he was more than what he was; an overqualified manager who got far on his name.
