A spectacularly badly timed fixture. At least it's not Panama I guess.

Don't know what PSG have done with Ibra, but it's clearly paying off.

He's been amazing for years, even his time at Barca he was doing great until injuries and the fallout with Pep.

Pity we'll probably never get to see him play in England.

    Epic audacity. Supreme victory.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I'd like to lay the blame for England's defeat solely at the feet of the travelling supporters for singing "One-nil and you fucked it up" for 5 minutes straight after we took the lead.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

They were also chanting "You're just a shit Andy Carroll" at Ibra in the first half. Better than anyone England have produced in years.

Mick in Cheltenham: "Joe Hart has to be one of the most overrated keepers around. Give Fraser Forster a game, far superior as demonstrated by his flawless performances against Barcelona. Hart's form has been suspect for some time now."
    Jesus wept.

Mick has seen Forster play well against Barca twice and is blissfully unaware that he's let a fair few in for Celtic against League 1 opposition in the SPL. Clueless. Hart is one of the world's best.

Read another couple of comments on the BBC livetext coming out with the usual "Ibrahimovic has yet to convince me because he didn't impress in the two or three games I've seen him in versus English clubs in the Champions League".

Hart is looking a bit dodgy this season, still fairly young for a goalie though. Would've made sense to give Forester a game in the friendly I reckon. Not to say he's a better keeper, just to keep Hart on his toes.

Hart's form has been suspect = 'the Man City defence is a bit shakier than last year so he's conceding more'? or 'he's let in a few goals for England so it must be his fault'?

England are pretty terrible to their goalkeepers. The fans are kneejerkers of the highest order, the press encourage them, and the managers follow the press.
It's his first night in an England shirt, he'll be trying to impress. Oh, he's made a howler! He'll never play for England again after this!

While I have seen Hart quite a few times for City single handedly bail them out I have to say he's been utter shite for England for some time now.

Shame about the scoreline in the end, first 20 minutes of the second half we totally battered them. Fair play to Ibra though, one of the enigmas of modern football I guess.

What are you on about? Everyone is always on Joe Hart's dick. Adrian Chiles was stroking one off about him on ITV after the game, while desperately trying to make excuses as to why he was so fucking shit tonight.

Hart is not one of the worlds best. But I'm sure his form will improve.

I'm trying to think of another player in the world that would have the audacity even attempt that goal, never mind have the skill and technique to execute it. Simply stunning.

Best all round striker in the world I reckon, barely a poor attribute in his game aside from attitude, which unfortunately makes a big difference.

Hart is a very good player who's suffering a little bit of bad form this season. Let's not forget Hart's only 25 and keeper is pretty much the only position where you peak at the 28-30 age range. I think when he hits his peak he'll be one of the best in the world.

Not sure about best striker in the world, but is there anyone in the modern age that's scored as many spectacular goals? Overhead kicks, bullet headers, back heels, flicks, kung-fu volleys, Maradona-esque dribbles - he's done them all. He's very much into his martial arts, and that shows in his technique.
