Apologies if old but Football365 reporting "Work permit blow for Rojo"

Admittedly the link to that article just takes you to the Prem fixtures so fat use, but...how to put this in a bob way....work permit problems not a great start for utd need numbers at the back big blow

Did I imagine it, or did I hear that there was a criminal charge in Argentina making it difficult for him to get a work permit over here?

Someone in here said it, only place I've heard it reported at all. That said, as far as I was aware it was only the bank holiday that was holding it up, but it doesn't seem that way now.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but...

    I agree with Martin Samuel

The co-efficient rankings that are used to insure the most powerful against their mediocrity could equally be used to implement a fairer competition. UEFA’s points system also reveals the identity of the strongest leagues in club competition — currently Spain, England, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Russia and France.

So the champions of those countries should be the seven top seeds, plus the Champions League holders. This would create a more egalitarian pot A, comprising Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Juventus, CSKA Moscow, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid. Fairer already.

Apparently Loic Remy has rejected us again, can we please just let it go? He's not the only striker out there, as I'd like to think Graham Carr et al realise.

We're crying out for a decent established striker (big question marks over the 3 we've already bought), but it's obviously not going to be him.

Thought he was going to QPR? He's always been a superhero against us in the past. Decent cover keeper. Apparently Alex Song as well, some DM cover no doubt.

I doubt we're interested in Alex Song, but the rumours about "hijacking" (kill me now) QPR's move for McCarthy are getting stronger.

Any Leicester fans? Has James McArthur signed yet? Are you excited about the prospect of him playing for you? And other such questions.

Confirmed: QPR have beaten rivals Liverpool to the signature of goalkeeping ace Alex McCarthy.

    Stambouli anyone? http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/tottenham-join-fiorentina-in-the-race-to-acquire-montpelliers-stambouli/

Di Marzio is usually never wrong so I do believe we're in for him. Anyone seen him play?

Guess Mourinho doesn't care for strikers. He's got one now, who's possibly pulled a ligament. Not that Torres is of any use.
