Di Matteo is still getting paid £130k p/w?

What an awful, awful club Chelsea are.

Yeah, what was it at one point - Bent, Berbatov, Keane and Defoe? Now that's a seriously impressive strikeforce.

    Oh Christ almighty.

    ... no football this weekend.

    : (

It doesn't seems awfully long ago since the last international break!

Yeh, nobody even wants them. (friendlies I mean)

The logical thing to do would be just ditch them so we wouldn't have a fixture pileup at the end of the year.

Hope Zlatan goes through against Ronaldo. Two of them going into the playoffs with hattricks over the weekend.

Almost the perfect weekend for Liverpool had Chelsea not been given a free point.

Hope to see Wellbeck back to muck it all up for Man Utd ;-)

All international friendlies are a waste of time, just play some behind closed doors warm up things....its so boring

Internationals are a waste of time. Just give Spain, Germany, Italy and Brazil (for old times sake) a bye into the finals and draw lots for the others. Friendlies are even worse. I know they have to pay for Wembley, but can't they just take the money out of the NHS or something? Better than inflicting the games on us.

This is a bit rich. I would be willing to bet NUFC have shelled out a few quid on sacked managers in the last few years.

    What?!

We are screwed of this is the case. I was just saying we absolutely needed him to remain fit to maintain our form to someone on Monday

On his part, Yiga staked his new Toyota Premio car and his wife that Manchester United would win
    Haha.

    It's awful, but

On Monday, several Manchester United fans stormed Dhabasani’s home and threw him and his family out.
    made me gLOL.

Yup. We'll need Jones in Midfield and pray that cleverley decides not to be shit suddenly.

That Afro thing is pretty useless. Maybe we can push Kagawa back with Jones.

    It's going to be "interesting".

    Come and get it cumslingers!

Yay! Pride Park is now the iPro Stadium for the next ten years!

The price of dignity? 700k a year which, to my eyes, is absolutely fuck all.

But in 10 years time, you'll be able to buy a world class player's left leg! maybe

How much do other teams get for their stadium rights? £700k a year for a football club sounds like it isn't even worth the bother when you consider the economy in the football sphere.

£700k will buy you, what, an averagely performing SPL player?

Im going to go out on a limb and say that a princely sum of fuck all will go to the manager, with the bulk of it winging its way to a bank account across the atlantic.

I don't know how many of you have been to pride park, but it's not located at the bottom of a tractor path.

I guess the only good thing is that it's been Pride Park for so long, no one will call it anything other. Like St James Park and St Marys

Ironically long enough for people to have forgotten the even bigger uproar that it wasnt going to be called 'the new baseball ground' or 'the baseball stadium' but 'gay pride park'.

It is quite funny, really. No one wanted it called Pride Park in the first place.

True enough. Us football fans are sticklers for tradition, but we also have short memories and are massive hypocrites.
