    So - when can we start to get excited about new players?

    Norwich are going to need at least one more striker (along with Wolfswinkel). I have a feeling that Holty might be on his way out. Subbed on the 85th minute at Carrow Road today to a standing ovation - it all felt a little like a farewell. ;_;

    I imagine we'll be sniffing around the Championship, again - it would be nice if we could prise Rhodes away from Blackburn or Deeney from Watford (if they don't go up).

    If poor old Wigan DO go down, then I'd love to see us going in for Maloney, too. He's always impressed me whenever I've watched them play.

    Curtis Davies, please.

    OH - we might as well put in an offer for Rooney, too.

    Ref definitely trying to even things up with the Newcastle penalty.

    Probably does Spurs a favour. Harper's still more dependable than Elliott.

    Was a definite pen iyam. You just don't see them given that often (sadly), maybe because Ben Arfa stayed on his feet it looked less serious but it was a foul either way. The Debuchy pen was more contentious, he's a bit reckless tbh.

    @caligari

    Rhodes is a good shout. Scored plenty for a poor side.

    But anyway - aren't you due your annual purchase of Leeds' best players again?

    A little piece of me will die inside if that happens. Will they want to spend 40m on him though?

    They've already taken all the good ones :(

    And I assume Byram will go somewhere better than Norwich and sit in the reserves.

    Coming from that Talksport idiot it is more likely trolling Arsenal fans than a legitimate transfer rumour.

    I guess. I would like to think if he was available, we'd be interested, especially with the buy-back clause we have in place.

    Henry to return as fluffer.
  • Deleted user 13 May 2013 10:26:51
    Pardew's comments about the 4-0 seem to be backfiring nicely. Could work out better for us in the end.

    I think the most spectacular event would be Rooney going to PSG, and Moyes wanting Beckham as part of the deal in addition to the money to buy Cesc Fabregas. A 12month swansong for Beckham returning as a squad player would kickoff the transfer market and Moye's career at United with some fireworks and shirt sales.

    There is more chance of a monkey flying out of David Moyes arsehole.

    Don't we have first option on Fabregas? As in if they decide they will sell they have to offer us to him first?

    I can't see us turning down the chance to bring him back, even for 30/40 mill, unless we've just signed someone else for that kind of money. Especially if it's an EPL team he'd be going to.

    I've always kind of assumed the biggest barrier to us splurging the cash was that the players that would command that fee wouldn't want to come here.

    I know, but it would still be a crazed media reaction that would be delightful to watch unfold, all the way down to the analysis of goals created by Rooney from wide areas in a United shirt compared to Becks, and even Moyes showing he an Fergie are two different managers.

    You would have the right to match any offer made for him. Totally irrelevant in the event of him not wanting to come to you though.

    We have first option on every player Real sell. Just watch how many of them we don't sign this summer.
