Slightly scary it must be said.
Almost certainly be some sort of announcement by lunch tomorrow before trading in the shares opens again.

Bit weird if he goes, what with quite the team coming together. Would expect him to give the CL a proper go next year at least.

Mourinho has been lined up as Fergie's replacement from day one. I'd imagine Fergie picked him himself.

The planets have now aligned and it's on.

Would love to see the faces of Chelsea fans if Mourinho was announced as United manager. Oh it would be priceless.

hasn't that pretty much been the case every summer for the last 4 or 5 seasons?

Could see Fergie stepping down early just to screw Chelsea, they'd be a serious threat with Mourinho back.

All the noise is Moyes is favorite to replace him.

Doesn't make any sense unless it's Mourinho though.

Still more likely it's just a Twitterstorm.

    Brap, brap, old chap.

So did quite a few teams, its just a question of wether or not the coverage is in colour or black and white.

Well got to say the last week and a bit of the prem are going to be very interesting for the last relegation place, 11th to 18th place are only covered by 6 points.

The Mirror are also saying we've signed a 5 year kit deal with Puma worth 170m in total, the biggest in English football.

Has the mirror ever got a transfer rumour right out of interest?

The Moyes to United rumours were hotting up earlier, apparently one of the large bookmakers got a flurry of bets and lowered his odds to 1/2

As much as I can't wait for him to fucking leave, I'm actually gonna be quite sad when Fergie isn't managing anymore.

I'm not convinced. Unless Norwich, Sunderland or Newcastle lose both remaining games, I can't see Wigan getting out of it. Too many defensive injuries to have any chance of getting a result at Arsenal and beating in-form Villa at home on the last day is no sure thing.

The thick bastard (probably a Londoner) who designed that outfit; doesn't know or understands Geordie as the expression is "Wye aye man" meaning of course, certainly.

This Ferguson thing might actually be true you know. Otherwise, surely the club would have responded.

I had a feeling it could be this year, after Real Madrid knocked us out of the Champions League, judging by his reaction it was like a man who's last chance at European Glory had passed.

I've always thought the next manager would be Mourinho, hence why he never took the Liverpool or City job, him and Fergie are great friends too and it's obvious he'll have a big say in the next replacement.

United need someone with arrogance and not afraid to say what is what, I can't see the job being anyones but Mourinho's. As much as I'd love managers to be given a chance, eg Moyes, I just don't think its plausible. It's all about the Champions League now and I think it would be a gamble bringing in someone with very little experience of that.

Hilarious if Mourinho steps in. The look at Stamford Bridge...

Mind you, better still if it were the Neville brothers.
