I've had to watch that a couple of times to verify it is Alan and not Steve Coogan talking...

One laugh + one snigger. Kiss my face.

I was prepared for disappointment after the latest mini-series things but that was actually quite funny.

Though one of the laughs came from the 'tugging me off' line which I almost felt guilty about.

if it's not an 'all the best bits are in the trailer' film it looks pretty damn good :)

Hah, went to the Norwich 'Premiere' earlier today - absolutely fantastic. I even managed to shake the hand of Mr Partridge.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

You don't like Mid Morning Matters?!

Granted, those other two one-offs he did aren't anywhere near as good, because Alan is only really funny when he's engaging with people somehow, and the one-offs are too much all about him.

But MMM with AP on NND is brilliant :D

    I also loved MMM :)
Looking forward to the film, can't get enough of Alan
I'm going to (re) listen to the autobiography again, so glad I bought the talking book with Alan reading it
    ...back of the net.

    P.S. "Do you like me...sexwise" ;)

I've got the talking book, got it as a free Audible download before cancelling immediately ;)

Listened to the first chapter about a hundred times, never get any further. Turns out I *hate* audio books. You have to wait for them to read it at their pace, and you have to listen - so you can't *really* listen while doing other things, at least I can't, because you miss stuff.

I know it's the single best person in the world who could be reading it, but I still found it a chore. It's just not that funny...

    Fair enoughski
...but it is ball-bouncingly funny, you have only listened to the first chapter, if you had listened all the way through I think you would have agreed...needless to say Alan had the last laugh ;)

Yeah I guess I can't really call it on the first chapter.

    But audiobooks, meh.

Same with my Cineworld, apparently they don't consider it to be 'money making' film during the busy Summer Holiday period.

It's a shame this didn't get a simultaneous Cinema/DVD+Blu-Ray/Streaming release like A Field in England did.
