I think there's a lot of Post CL tension in here. Let's all just watch this video, have a good ol laugh and then return to a nice chat about footy.

A player getting injured is exactly as funny as a cunt on and off the field screwing up the biggest moment of his career.

Nearly as big a cunt as Rooney. The thing about Rooney is that he appears to be getting worse, both on and off the pitch

Simon Hughes apparently did a rather rabid summary of the 3 most grotesque and hated players in football.

    3. A Cole
    2. W Rooney
    1. J Terry.

I would C&P it but it's behind the paywall. :(

Joey Barton not in the top 3!

Surprised to see Rooney above Cashley. In fact Iím surprised to see Rooney up there at all really. The fact that heís Englandís star player I thought would help.

I shouldn't do a predo before the teams are out, but fuck it. Remember to not put a bet on... 1-1!

I'd like to see a demonstration of Barcelona's football to shut up the whingers who want to see them go out, but I have a feeling it won't work out that way.

I really want Arsenal to go thorough, but it's hard to look past a Barca win, even though they haven't been at their best recently.

Van Persie's fitness could make or break it for Arsenal, much like Rooney's last year against Bayern. It'll be a cracker hopefully.

Is Van Persie playing? Do we know yet? Is Messi going to be clean-shaven?

Ballague says Dutch TV is saying Van Persie is in. So in other words, we don't know. The teams have to be submitted 75 minutes before kick-off, but I don't know when we'll find out for sure.

Yeah, just seen that on Twitter.

I was assuming Wenger would start with RvP, he gives them an edge. I'm also assuming Fabregas will be starting tonight too? Big game for him tonight.

    Van Persie starts :D
  • Deleted user 8 March 2011 18:35:31
I'd be astonished if Fabregas and RvP didn't both start.

Someone else is saying RvP is starting, don't know how reliable they are though.

I'm going to start taking bets on how long he lasts before coming off and being out for the season. ;)

Heh, I remember how Wenger used to be with Henry. If ever there was a slight injury, he was "certainly out the game" and used to go on about how he wouldn't risk him. Low and behold, he'd play, and score. Swine.
