the ps2 metal gear, GTA and ICO games would be definite buys for me. I missed most of the last gen and would happily pay out to add those games to my collection.

Registered 6 years agoHD remakes are perfect for games that were brilliant at the time but the original console didn't quite have the power to pull it off. This is why the recent Perfect Dark remake is so good.
I would go for Burning Rangers. Playing that with no pop-up backgrounds, a decent frame rate and high resolution would be fantastic.

X-wing/Tie Fighter are the only games I want to see remade in HD.

Saying that though, if it is Nintendo, and not Rare, who own the rights to the game then why dont they remaster it themselves and release it on the wii? (is Wiiware the name of the online store?).
It sold 8 million copies back in the day and i guarantee a HD remake would sell at least that much again. -
