Is there a way to place objects into the background/foreground like there was in LBP1? I think the layer glitch tool from LBP1 is broken on LBP2.

Registered 6 years agoYep, still possible. Here is a video tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/user/LBPlanetorials#p/u/5/Ij--bJxovSk (starts at 10:20)
Essentially, you need to copy foreground and background layers (if you don't have them) and then emit the object with one extra layer. -

Registered 4 years agoCheers Syrok! I'll be all over that once I get my internet connection sorted!
How many levels have you made for LBP2 so far? -

Registered 6 years agoFour, though I only really count one. The other ones are either not made for me, a remake, or just a random gameplay idea I published without spending much time on making it fun.
Wish I had more time to create (or play any games), but writing my thesis is more important at the moment.

Registered 4 years agoDo you unlock the instruments for the music sequencer through the game? I got the ones from the tutorial but there are things missing like certain string and brass instruments missing? -

Registered 6 years agoI don't think there are any string and brass instruments... :/

Registered 4 years agoDamn. I wanted to make my own dramatic sound like the Disaster Strikes cinematic which sounds like a brass instrument. Perhaps in a future patch then if PSN ever comes back up. -

Costumes aside, the DLC in LBP1 was excellent.

Registered 5 years agoNot touched this for a couple of months but with PSN coming back up and not really having anything to play I thought I would delve back in and see what I have been missing, have to say that some of the levels coming out now are incredible. Some levels are now better than the story levels, including the cutscenes; the ideas that are being used now really shows that the community are really getting into their stride.
Some new levels I have discovered that are well worth a go include
Magnetic Fields - Poms
Vectroids - CuzFeeshe
Moon Lander 2 - I_Pinky_I
Sackrificed - Morgana25
The Mind Factory - Jackofcourse
Oh and how about a 3D Racer?

Registered 5 years agoAlso you may want to try A Wizard Did It, first level of what will hopefully be ongoing project, play as a Wizard, with 5 different spell types, all with 3 versions of each, double jumps, health & mana bars, everything you would want from wizardy platforming, very funny cutscenes too. Possibly the best community level I have played so far

Registered 4 years agoI tried it for a bit Bangmon, and i have to be honest its to hard for me. Thats not saying much as iam not exactly great, i got as far as the eyeballs before running out of lives. If this was his intention then fair enourgh (which sounds like might be by his voice clips) in which case well done on achieving what set out on.
The only thing i will say is change the location of the checkpoint after the lava rope bit as can be frustrating to fall down and have to do them again.Known as 'Sharzam' in 98.5% of games

Registered 7 years agoI've played so many amazing levels over the past few nights. The "Malevolent Tale" series is quite brilliant, although the boss fight is annoying. The intro is absolutely ace too, well worth watching.
Also played "Unhearted 2" which was excellent.
The standard of community levels is extremely high. -

Registered 6 years agoYou can Paint using the PlayStation Move but generally speaking the Move itself is not used during actual level creation, except for when using the Move Recorder.

I think they missed a trick there, especially as the Vita version will have touchscreen creation…
If its good enough to paint with then its good enough to draw materials…
Everything else is great though -
