James Cameron can do one as far as I'm concerned.

I will wait in anticipation of what Nintendo will show at E3 but am not ready to canonise/chastise them or Sony for this race to the next fad.

I remember when I used to draw green and red lines around pictures in an attempt to make them look 3D through the specs.

I've never seen it in 3D, but it's fooking hilarious.

Of course Sony has copied 3D from Nintendo. It just took them longer than usual! :)

Sony already have patents for 3D screens. Just another chance for Nintendo to try and make out like everyone is ripping them off again.
+1. Its a cheap move by Nintendo and Ecosse has already fallen for it.

"a cheap move" - WTF are you talking about?

    lol :D

Eh, surely it can't be 3D on both screens, just the top one. It would be real awkward trying to touch something in 3D.
This has been bugging me a little.
How will interacting with a 3D image via a flat touchscreen interface work? Surely there will be some sort of mental disconnect as your finger/stylus either 'goes through' or stops short of the thingy you are trying to interact with?

Might lead to touchscreen-control games having to subdue their 3d whizzyness in favour of usability.
Yes? no? Just thinking out loud here really. I'm interested in the thing either way.

They could have a mini wiimote for use as a stylus that a camera could use for tracking ala PS3 Move.

    Imagine that.

Surely both screens will be touch screens this time around?

It wouldn't surprise me if the new DS was only slightly more powerful than the old DS to be fair. It's very doubtful it'll be even close to GC power.

    Get bent.

Fucks sake, EG really does crush the excitement for anything. I was well hyped for this when I read the news earlier, now I've been on EG for 10 minutes and I really don't give a shit about it any more.

Just ignore them and remember that people on the internet don't like anything apart from wanking into socks, eating junk food, watching shit American TV programmes, moaning about everything and fiddling about on their high-end PCs.
