I'd rather pay £7 for Chrono Trigger than 73p for GTA 3... What does that say about me?

Cheers for the heads up Haway.

No, sorry, played CT too many times now. I just don't need another version, especially since it seems to be identical to the DS version that I most recently played.

Would be good for any of those crazies who haven't played it yet!

Anyone mentioned the new Broken Sword?
Started playing it the other night - works really nicely on tablet. It's a new adventure rather than the original with the bomb in the street in Paris.
Touch screen interface works nicely and there's a nice built in-hint system that gives just enough to point you in the right direction.

Actually, it says it contains the original adventure. So maybe that comes along later. The bit I'm playing seems new to me...

I believe the Director's Cut version added an introduction featuring the female character, whose name I've completely blanked on; the cafe/clown/bomb scene follows on after that.

Ahh, OK. Well, I'm still playing through the new introduction. :)

Others are Nova or Apex of which I've used both. Very similar.

I switched to Nova a few months ago because the performance was better, haven't been back and tested Apex since.

Nova's doing a solid job on my tablet as well.

I switched to Nova mainly because I got the Prime version for 25p ;-)

Well I've fired it up and I love it. Put about 2 hours into it so far and if it wasn't for a stupid shell casing puzzle I might be a bit futher than the state room.

Finally, finally they fixed the Pocket thing so that you can look at articles from your subscription sites. So it's basically perfect now. \o/

If you fancy Advance Wars-style TBS with a medievel/fantasy twist, check out Wesnoth/Battle For Wesnoth.
£2.49 for the full game which contains about 20 scenarios, I think, each with betwwen 5-9 missions.

Tower defense with planes. Free with heavy† leaning towards IGP unless you have patience to replay levels for in game currency.

Flipboard and Pocket are the perfect combo. Especially if you have Longreads in your Flipboard. Send them over to Pocket and all your commuting woes are over.
