    Fuck Dragon Rising!

Ok, I've not got it yet but I can see from the Flashpoint 2 thread where this is going. I'll be on Sunday :-(

    gamertag: Meho PPPi

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Heh. Ordered from Play so doubt I'll be seeing it before next week. :) But will be there with bells on.

Heh - I like GRAW2 but I think you might be disappointed if you think this will bring you closer to OpFlash 1 than Dragon Rising did. Still - have fun! :)

I already told them it's not like Op Flash, but they ordered away! Co-op is great fun in this, regardless. I also just popped another thread, oops.

Not expecting open missions and loads of vehicles, but at least intense gameplay and no retarded AI. If I'm going to be limited to small squads, I might as well go for a game that does that well. BF:BC is the closest to OFP1 I've experienced so far (actually might head back in for a few games this weekend). Will BF:BC2 have coop?

I liked Rainbow Six. I'm guessing it's closer to that, right?

There are a few vids of BF:BC2 on the Live. It looks fucking amazing, but doesn't state if it's co-op.

I know GRAW2 is not going to give the freedom etc. of the original Flashpoint but the fucking AI 'tards are doing my head in. As are many other things that were mentioned in the FP2 thread. I'm not going to start.

I wanted to call the thread

The GRAW2 organize online games (for disgruntled Flashpoint gamers) as it's a lot more fun than this 'tarded game.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Wait till you've played it. Then you can rename it to that. :)

Would be great if BF:BC2 had coop and a proper hardcore mode (not just removing some HUD).

No. Not in the slightest. :)

All of the pre-mission planning is gone. It's just a linear shooter with more hardcore punishment for non-tactical thinking. Very enjoyable, but not even in the ballpark of what you folks are craving I think.

Iunno, they rainbow six Vegas games and the GRAW games have one major difference, one is inside one is outside. They both involve running around shooting folk, hiding around things and giving basic orders.

Well considering there is nothing to fill the void of OFP, for a tenner I'll give GRAW2 a go. At least tell me the enemy AI is alright. Are mission approaches funneled or slgihtly open?

As I say, good fun games and well worth a look in co-op. But I don't recall many situations where a change in tactical thinking was necessary. Find the right solution, act on it. Job done. Enemy AI never really came into the campaign for me - they will see you unerringly and pop a cap in your arse as punishment for not covering your angles. That's about it.

Never felt flanked or outsmarted - the levels aren't built that way really. Good fun, but not a free-form tactical shooter by any stretch for me.

To reiterate: excellent game. Great fun, lots of missions. Replacement for OpFlash? Not for me. Good game in its own right? Absolutely. :)

Well that's fine. TBH if I want OFP my best option is to go back to the original or wait for ArmA2 to be properly patch and buy a new PC. I may actually do the former.

The Co-Op missions are the most challenging gameplay wise I felt, the campaign in GRAW2 felt kind of tacked onto the robust mutliplayer game.

I've still not completed the GRAW2 SP, played plenty of the multi though, for variety there's more to it than Dragon Rising.

    This space left intentionally blank.

This arrived today, £5 from eBay. Did a couple of missions, it's showing it's age aint it? And talk about throwing you in at the deep end! "This is how you do this. This is how you do something else. Now do everything at once, while being shot at. Go!"

I wish you could go up on a hill, get out a campfire, and sit around listening to the wind in the trees. Instead, I go up on a hill and shoot people.

And yeah, 'Perfect' achievements make co-op.

Ah, this must be the thread I'm looking for.

Ordered from play today, hopeful for a delivery tomorrow, but most likely Mon/Tues.

Add me Mish Mash UK, am well up for some co-op action.

Edit: Wednesday it is then. God play are slow.

Came in the post today. Not had the chance to try it yet tho, but will probably be up for diving right into it this evening.

it'd be fun to play co-op AND MP with the new guys. Nobody plays the DLC MP maps so it'd be nice to play some of them to actually USE them, alongside the Co-op. ctl-v from the other thread.

My tag is RedSparrows. Add me for co-op lols. You might even get a clan invite.......!!!!!1!!

Finally got it from play today. Installed all the bits and bobs.

When is the next co-op session? I need a bit more practise, but should be good enough to play.

I'm up for some of this, had it for a while but never ventured online.

    GT: Hunam85

Am around most evenings, tend not to log onto the old xbox much though, so it'd be nice if there was a set time a few days before so I know when to log on.

Been playing Borderlands, but please, if you see me and fancy a game do shout. Doesn't bother me if I'm in the middle of a SP game.

Hows about this.... Sunday, at 8.30? Like last week's informal gathering, but with more people?

It's a date. I'll bring the candles and some scented oil.
