    I'm liking Rhodes.

    Quick... Might be... I'm of the opinion that it's a crap clue. It could be any surname that ends in K that sounds vaguely speed-related.

    Re the first, RHODES is the place you say (or 'are lead to') if you say 'roads'.

    Think that its some play on 'este' which is the Spanish version of the er or erm pause in English speech and Siesta (afternoon nap)
