Thanks chub. I downloaded the trial, so I can agree that it looks great on the Vita screen. Roughly how long does your average playthrough take?

Do you think it's worth the price then?

From recollection, Limbo is pretty short (4-6 hours...?), but well worth the asking price if you've never played it before.

Thanks Flying_Pig. 4-6 hours of a great game is often better than 20 hours of an average game, so I am tempted. However, I think I'll try to hold off and wait for a sale.

Apparently so. It's also supposed to be difficult and have tonnes of content.

    Do you like tower defense?

I know I buy nearly every Vita release but we've finally come to one I won't be picking up (in the short term at least!)
Erm... Not really my cuppa tea by the looks/sounds of it. :)

Limbo for me was about three hours, and I wasn't rushing, but it was a great game.

I too would prefer a tight enjoyable gaming experience that lasts three hours than an unnecessarily padded out 20 hour 'epic' with lots of downtime and unnecessary fetch quests.

    @Roddy100

Do yourself a favour and buy LIMBO, it's a cross buy too. I've bought it for my Xbox and Vita. Amazing game.

There certainly seems to be a lot of love for it and cross buy definitely takes some of the sting out of that price...

It's definitely on my must-buy list in that case. (But I should probably finish Machinarium first.)

Online co-op for Pixel Junk Monster HD - just found that out and now I'm tempted (was thinking I'd be happy with my PSP version).

@Murbal Oh, I hadn't realised that either. Co-op might be rather fun!

Oh - bought Machinarium too; found out my Android version, purchased from Amazon appstore when I first bought my Nexus 7 is now unavailable for download (I played through a large portion of it on my previous Nexus and never got round to trying to download it again on my replacement until now).

Can whoever writes those messages on the walls in Stealth Inc.. stop goading me please.

    That is all

After owning a Vita for a couple of month now, I personally think the following are must buys.

    RC Motorstorm
    LBP
    Everybody's Golf
    LIMBO
    Hotline Miami
    Thomas was Alone
    Stealth Inc
    Sound Shapes
    Guacamelee!
    Rayman Origins

I'm sure there's plenty to add to that of course

Pixel junk monsters is tower defence but it's so much better as you have direct control over a character. Top game.

Saw the Vita advert doing the rounds at the moment showing the release months for Stealth Inc, Spelunky, Luftrausers etc last night. Interestingly showed Stealth Inc as July and Spelunky as out now, would love this to come out today but I guess Sony will want to build it up a bit more and not put it up against PJM and Superfrog iirc.

    Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
    Velocity Ultra
    Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Is Superfrog HD today? :D Awesome! I thought there was going to be nothing for me on today's update. Hopefully it's under 262mb so it can slot neatly in where TwA lived.

Amiga game - the Amiga's answer to Sonic.

    I'm waiting on Spelunky.

I've only played about 30 seconds of the Amiga version and it seemed quite charming - he was kind of the Amiga's mascot along with a few other characters. The port has been given a fresh coat of HD paint along with level design and difficulty amended to make it more palatable to today's gamers.

IIRC it's launching quite cheaply too.

iirc it was also either sponsored or funded by Lucozade. Lucozade bottles were the collectibles.

Lucozade got around a bit, didn't they? :p I remember the Lara Croft posters although I think I was pretty little when that promotion was on.
