Puts the pic up on Imageshack, someone else hosts it on their own site, the original photographer demands that it is removed, it isn't.

    Cue rampant photoshopping.

I don't think the 'shopper has much to be proud of. Regardless of whether the photo that started it all does or does not depict a parent treating her child badly (and to me it doesn't look very much like she's 'playfully swinging the child around' whatsoever), taking all those photos from the Flickr site and claiming that "the internet owns them" and altering them to basically harass that woman is out of order. What a twat.

Having said that, some of them are pretty funny.

You're saying you don't think he agrees with me? Or that you only agree with one of my posts? Or with neither?

I've picked both my boys up like that in the past, they didn't seem to mind, and acutally seemed to quite enjoy it in fact.

It's not ideal, but it's not that bad. Picking them up by the leg is better than the arm I guess.

    Get bent.

Why do I feel like I've gone back to 1999 with all those photoshops?

Some of them made me laugh but too many were in seriously bad taste IMO.

What's wrong with holding a kid upside down by his foot?

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

When they're that young it's easy to dislocate their hip.

Swinging kids by their arms is pretty common with children that age, but is seriously fucking risky. I know somebody that dislocated their childs arm doing just that.

eidt: unless you were joking of course!

I saw a cat picking up its offspring by its neck.

    Fucking cats.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

Nope - wasn't joking, was just asking. I got swung about loads as a kid, it was awesome.

Then again I wasn't obese as that kid so I probably didn't have the weight to dislocate anything :D

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

Yeah, I double-taked at that one too. Some people have bags of talent and too much time on their hands.

    Shame.

All children should be treated this way. I'd have given it a shake, too, see if any change falls out his pockets.

Um... I can't click that link (work) but how young is the kid? I'm a touched worried now, as I swing my 18 month old nephew about by his arms, legs sometimes both at the time. I've not moved onto his head yet...
