Some guy. Who cares, there's 'no stage diving' signs everywhere with good reason. The security barrier is a good couple of metres from the stage.

I've said this before but when I saw the first reunion date at Brixton academy last year I was almost in tears when they took to the stage again after all this time.

    Such an amazing band.

Same as that, only a couple of tears actually crept out - was pretty cool to see all the big hairy metal dudes with wet cheeks :D Especially as all the rumours claimed they'd be recreating the 'You Fat Bastards' setlist, and they kicked into 'From Out Of Nowhere' - the mass intake of breath was amazing...

  • Deleted user 16 April 2010 14:55:11

There's plenty of speculation (some people think it's new, some people think it's from the Album of the Year/King for a Day era) but I'm personally pretty sure it's new - for one thing they're fairly picky about what they play from their old catalogue, plus the lyrics ('we’re coming back', 'the dead will rise' etc) all seem to point to it being new.

    :)

That swings between a Bungle/California in the intro and finishes FNM/KFADFFALT style.

    If that makes sense!?!

I like it, a new album would be brilliant.

    Love a bit of FNM!

What a fantastic guy Patton is, I love how he goes "that was fucked up" and wants to lighten the mood by launching into a whistle version of Popcorn.

I get to deal with a fair few famous people at work, Mike Patton was the only time I've ever been star struck. Couldn't even talk.

After extensive research I've arrived at the conclusion that King For A Day is their best.

Followed by Introduce Yourself. Then Angel Dust. Then, oohhh, Real Thing. Then Album of the Year. Then We Care A Lot.
