Not sure if this is genuine, in fact, I kinda can't believe this is genuine. From the Daily Mail.
    She is 8.

They've been doing that with celebrity kids for a while now. If confronted I imagine they'd say that it's only predators that would see it that way and what they're doing is perfectly innocent.

This is my friend's house (I actually mentioned it in the musings thread last week): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2426691/Owner-100-000-Bentley-ploughed-garden-wall-smashed-house-charged-drink-driving.html?ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

A spokesman for Kent Police said the Bentley smashed through the wall at around 5pm on Sunday, adding: 'Kent Police were called at 4.50pm to a report of a car in collision with a property in Rainham.

Time travel bitches! Yes, I know it says "around 5pm", but it's still sloppy reporting which makes it look like the police were called before the incident actually happened.

This is old (2005) but relevant to counter the latest ridiculous hypocrisy of the Daily Mail. Lord Rothermere, proprietor of the Daily Mail sent a series of supportive and congratulatory telegrams to Nazi Germany's leaders, including Hitler, just months before the second world war.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

They don't care though. Hell, I'd go further... I don't even think they see the hypocrisy.

They are primo outrage farmers. I just wish everyone understood this, but people actually believe their hype.

    Never seen this before

It's not even over the Nazi links that they can be called up on for hypocrisy. This is the same paper that after Margaret Thatcher's death said to have respect for the dead.

It's the most popular """"""""""news""""""""""" site on the web.
  • Deleted user 2 October 2013 16:25:40
The celeb gossip side of their site is extremely popular, and the source of much hypocrisy of the gay guys in my office, who spend most of the time on it reading about lady Gaga and "Madge", but then constantly botch about the paper's homophobia.

If you are a forrin, you would be hard pressed to tell that the DM was a newspaper from their website.

Its like a more trashy version of Heat with the occasional story about football.

Holder was questioned early in the investigation and told police on the day of Alanna's death he woke up about 2pm, watched television and went to apply for jobs, having recently been made unemployed by Sonic.

Funniest part of this Daily Mail fallout is that they've managed to completely overshadow the Tory conference... which, depending on content of course, really could be bad for the conservatives.

You are part of the problem :( You keep reading it, they'll keep churning it out. Getting more and more hateful every day just to please you. feeding fear, envy and spite. Being paid handsomely for every click.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_Online

The website reached 105.72 million unique web browsers in August 2012, up from 66 million in March 2011, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. That figure makes it the world's most popular news site.

Globally it was the most visited newspaper website, according to ComScore, whose methodology gave the site 50.1 million unique visitors for October 2012, ahead of the previous leader, The New York Times website, which received 48.7 million visitors in the same month

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
