Not sure what the going rate is, but my cousin is moving jobs/country and is after a quick sale, it's the top model jobby.

She's looking for £1100 as it's pretty new, I'll get it all formatted before hand.

Assuming it has 2GB of RAM and a 250GB HD they reckon on £1,030, which seems reasonable enough to me.

There is no such thing as having too many bits of techy kit ;)

Can't afford it, and my wife would probably divorce me if I bought yet another computer (and I wouldn't blame her!)

Nice purchase for somebody, though - one of the academics I work with has one, and it's lurvely

I have created a thread for the 2133 - post in there if you have any tips. I have XP on it now and it runs real good. That'll learn linux.

No, but I would prefer 4gig of Ram...still tempting though but I don't want to waste your time so I will pass thanks.

The extra ram costs 50 quid and is easier to fit than a light bulb.

Offer him £1050, to take the ram thing into account.

Bit of a cheeky bump to ask if anyone out there can advise what this little bundle I've got for sale might be worth. I'm offering it to the communal mailing list at work before I go near eBay so trying to determine an asking price:

    - mid-2007 24" iMac
    - 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
    - Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB graphics
    - 4GB RAM
    - 1TB HDD (newly fitted last summer by Apple, so in excellent condition)
    - Superdrive (also newly fitted by Apple last summer)
    - Original wired keyboard and mouse
    - Original Leopard discs
    - Official Snow Leopard disc
    - Original packaging (if that matters to anyone!)

    - It won't come with Mountain Lion but it runs it just fine.

I also have, and am happy to throw in:

    Magic Trackpad
    Magic Mouse

I was thinking that all might be worth £500 on a good day, especially with the extra peripherals thrown in. What do you think?

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

That's a spot on price, especially with the Magic Mouse and Trackpad included.

The graphics processor lets it down a little bit, but other than that, it is worth your asking price.

    Go for it ...

    ... : )

Suggest you put a buy-it-now for the £500 - then hope that aggressive bidding (which it will probably get) lifts it beyond. Lots of ebay folks get carried away.

    Good luck !

Good pics of it looking minty clean and all the bits n bobs will help....

I've sold loads of my old apple kit on fleabay and it does hold good value...

Good price. Just right. Agree that you should place a buy out of 500 and hope for more.

@nickthegun - ah, good link. Says just over £500 for the machine, so with the trackpad and mouse it's definitely a good deal and as I got one of them for free anyway... Okay thanks!
