I've not read his blog before, but to be fair the comments to him are incredibly aggressive!

Are you saying that this is not an issue and no advantage would come from this? Think carefully before answering this one Joe; your rep is on the line here.
Oh look, the anti-RBR British ‘journalist’ has another go at RBR for Mercedes getting 1000kms of extra tyre data and 4 weeks of more time to adjust the car to Canada and onwards than the rest of the field.
    etc

Something seems a bit off about the red bulls gaining such a big advantage from the safety car release.

Yeah, are you allowed to push hard through areas without yellow flags when the safety car is deployed?

And now cars are allowed to unlap themselves. Is that not what should have happened instead of releasing the Red Bulls etc.? Not sure I understand these rules...

Based on that brake lock, I would suggest it was actually a bit amateur with a good dollop of luck.

    Red flags. New tyres.

Will they go Soft or SSoft?

Never seen a barrier do that, but I think that's a good thing in some respects. The energy taken to move that can only have come from one place, which means it wasn't deposited in the driver.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

    I don't think I've personally seen a red flag since the '90s that wasn't weather-related.

Yeah. Vettel was being chased down (by Hamilton?) on bad tyres, then there was a red flag, and he got brand new tyres.

Chilton pulled in a little quick in front of Maldonado, clipped him and sent him headlong into the barrier.

Red flagged as the barrier and car blocked the track.
